Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

Last week my phone fell off the roof of my car (I was in a rush, it's my own fault), and got run over by a huge truck...my phone is beyond crapping out...after over a week without a phone at all, Monday can't come fast enough.
yeah...that is putting it mildly. Like I said next time I am going to call and make sure the order can be processed...maybe I'll even call several times...lol
You used your card and your address...but did you leave his name on your friends account? That was their beef. Instead of the account owner name being on the order mine name was on the order.
I wrote verizon an email. I found out you have to state your case firmly and don't back down when dealing with them. This past summer I was having a problem with my BB Storm 2. They wouldn't replace it. I had gotten it full retail price at walmart and Verizon tried to tell me since I got it at walmart there was no warranty on it because I paid full retail price and bought it "unattached to a phone number." Therefore as far as they were concerned the phone had no warranty and they weren't going to replace it because they had no proof of when I purchased it. Despite the fact that I had the original sales receipt they said they had no proof that I didn't purchase a broken phone on ebay and was trying to get a new one out of the deal. I contacted walmart AND verizon several times they both blamed the other. After a lot of going back and forth between the two I finally got Verizon to replace the phone after threatening to cancel my account. Right after they agreed to ship me a new phone walmart told me if Verizon wouldn't make it right that they would.
good. hopefully people will start getting them soon, so we'll have some user reviews before the 10th

I sure hope you all get your phones on Monday. Anybody have any advice on placing an order? LOL I had a problem on the 3rd and ended up with three orders because the site kept giving me an error. What's the key when you get an error, just keep trying until you get through? I am definitely going to be checking the site before 3 AM as I see a lot of you placed your orders before 3 AM on the 3rd. If I knew I was assured of getting one I would go to the store and get one on the 10th. They say some Wal-Marts will be selling them as well as Best Buy. Don't know about Verizon resellers though.
I'm having it shipped with FedEx, and it says an indirect signature is required. So, if I wanted to have it set up so that if it gets here while I'm at work (11-2), they'll go over and give it to my neighbor and she can sign for it and keep it for me, how would I go about doing that?
I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing yet, but it'd help a lot to know for sure how it works.

So here is my plan if my iPhone gets to my local UPS facility tomorrow. I'm just gonna go in there and ask if I can pick it up. If they say no I just slip the guy $20 and say "you sure you can't get it?" If the guy says no again that is when I procede the punch the **** out of him.
Its 11:45 here in Jersey and my tracking information still only states that shipping info has been received! It has been that way since 1:42 am of the 4th. Since I also have Monday delivery at 3pm and others are having the same scan issues, I would surmise this is a glitch and we will probably have our handsets in time. Funny to see all these people freaking out though . lol
I'm not sure what I'd do if I were in your position. If you can, I would probably try my luck at camping out early Thursday morning at your local Verizon or Apple store. If you do the pre-order on the 9th, they are saying that you'll receive the shipment on the 10th. That's if everything goes as planned with the shipment. So that's the earliest you'll get it.
By going with the camping out option, you'll be guaranteed to get the phone shortly after 7 AM when the store opens (as long as you are there early enough to ensure a good place in line).
The cold will undoubtedly be counteracted by the adrenaline rush he'll get knowing he'll have his iPhone soon.

You're not gonna like this....but....i used his username and password to sign in....then everything they asked me for i put all my info in like it was my account, which it wasn't....
Really? Can we see a screenshot, please? Surprised that Apple's stock is shipping from China instead of the US. Is there an estimated delivery date?
i have memphis 6am too, i bet they have arrived at their destinations this evening and we are just waiting for someone to scan them for the status update.....stay optimistic we will get them monday!!!
That is what I am doing cause my wife has a simple samsung she is very satisfied with and eligible for upgrade. My daughter showed me on the "My Verison" website that if you clicked on a phone eligible for upgrade there is an option to "Transfer upgrade to another line". That particular option was not available at time of order but we were told to call when we were ready to activate and we could transfer the upgrade from her line to my stinking Blackberry.
That is the same location every Mac and iPod I have ordered since 2007 has originated...them planes fly fairly fast though
