lol they're having a flamewar over whether the guy posting is the same guy from the video....too funny!
Who gives a ***** if he activated it. That's not the most important issue at hand. The more pressing issue is if you saw that red feather down jacketblast from the 90's!
Just leave.
Nah. Activating won't be an issue. If he did somehow make up getting it then oh well.
I still think verizon wants initial buyers to activate before the 10th. Not only does it help with relieve some system burden, but it can be a test to make sure all is working for activation.

no activity for over 24 hours, now it is already 3/4 of the way here. good deal.
I totally agree that they most likely planned it this way to relieve strain on the 10th, but I'm just saying it's shady that he won't post a video of it. Either way, he's still one lucky bastard.
Just remind me to tell you "I told you so" when I have an iPhone 5 this summer, and you are stuck with an iPhone 4 on a two-year contract.
I'll be laughing when I sell my iPhone 4, still under contract, make some money, and not have to pay much for the iPhone 5. It's worked perfectly the past 3 years. No reason the iPhone will be any different in that respect.

Again...where do you see that? Someone asked if iTunes was needed or not but nothing was ever said. I still think it will be like regular activations although iTunes could come into play.
Well if it wasn't for the ice storm, I would have mine today as I was able to convince fedex to hold for pickup.. at least i will be able to go early in the am monday and get it..
The poster on youtube said this
"Activated threw iTunes only.

And it doesn't appear that they're the same person...but at least it was answered by the poster of the video.

I'll laugh if its next February before the iPhone 5 comes out on Verizon.

i disagree w/ that. i just sold my droid for 400, it was the lame. besides, now that verizon has iphone, A LOT of people are going to be wanting any iphone they can get. i have four friends that want the iphone but they are locked in the contract.Just remember that you can only sell it to a Verizon customer or someone who wants to be a Verizon customer, Don't expect to see the same $400 to $500 prices as we see for GSM phones that can be used all over the world.

besides, i'd never trust to sell to someone out of the states.
about to give up for the night....
hopefully there will be some tracking info waiting for me when I wake up....
If not, I'm going to assume that there won't be an update until Monday when we're back to business hours...
still holding out hope that when I get the tracking info it will show that the phone is well on its way to me due to travel over the weekend....but I think that the odds of me getting the phone on monday are getting slimmer and slimmer.....I'm thinking Tuesday....
