Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

So back to the screen protector issue for a moment. I like many others I'm sure usually go by the "you get what you pay for" motto, but this is one area I must make an exception. I have had both the invisible shield and cheap screen protectors for numerous devices in the past and I have to say there is no point in paying $25 for invisible shield. A $9 screen protector from amazon will do the job just fine. Just read reviews and make sure your not getting one that comes with the rainbow effect. Here is one that I have already bought for my iPhone.

Ok, this one looks good as well. Just that the $4.00 ones tend to be, well, $4 ones.

No doubt. Although I would not trust anything Verizon tells you since their reps really don't have any idea (seriously). Just check your tracking number.
 
What the fudge!!!

My tracking changed from monday the 7th to tuesday the 8th.... Its being shipped by UPS and after ky it went to sc, and then changed.

I called ups just now they said it should still come tomorrow.... Why cant they just have their shiz straight.... And they are all about logistics... Let me show you what logistics is.

wait, is that current? because it still says anticipated ship date: 2/3/11. Is that an old screenshot? and also, yes, it is possible, but not likely, if that's still what it says.

Could very well be current. It goes into the system when Verizon creates a tag. It just has not been updated because Fedex has not officially picked it up yet. At this point I wouldn't sweat it though. They can pick up and overnight late. It being Sunday though...I am not sure

YES! TRIPPLE: The website duplicated my order! I AM ALSO RECEIVING TWO PACKAGES 1 UPS 2 FEDEX. I called VZW and they said I ordered 2 IPHONES!!!!!

ARE YOU F*ing kidding me?! So, you better call them and figure out what is going on. They have already charged $400 to my account for a second phone i didn't order. I am stopping the payment on my credit card and refusing the second package when it comes.

I don't understand what the heck they're doing either, but this isn't their first rodeo, so I still have faith.

Mine started in Ontario, CA - Flew to Louisville, KY - And I'm guessing they're now driving it to Commerce City, CO.

If any of you are looking for some good CS support, ask for Sam. He's on shift now. He actually just took the liberty of calling me back and calling FedEx as well to ensure that my package gets here by Tuesday.
 
This blows......still no shipping information. I tried the new little trick of putting location code into myVerizon. It comes up with......Here is the Status of your order. Nothing else.

Screw it, not excited anymore. Maybe I'll just cancel my supposed order.
 
I got an email from switcheasy saying they are making the Vulcan (My choice until they come out with the trim for the Verizon version), Capsule, and Nude.

I was just at my local Apple store and they have a clear one for iPhone 4... here is the link... http://store.apple.com/us/product/H2852ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA0NA&mco=MjAwMzI2MDM... per Apple's site it fits both AT&T & Verizon iPhone 4's.

I just got off the phone with a very nice CS representative (after 6 tries), and he informed me that although all the labels were printed on Friday, not all the iPhones went out. He said the ones that still say "shipment information sent to fedex" will go out on Monday with delivery on Tuesday.

I hope this solves a lot of questions.
 
Update for (I'm assuming all) apple orders: UPS updated for me for the first time since Friday night/early Saturday morning. My order is still in Asia. Originated in China, shipped to Hong Kong, shipped back to China, and Hong Kong is the latest departure scan. Expected delivery is Tuesday by 10:30 in the morning, but I'm not holding my breathe.
 
I NEVER thought I'd say this but... thank God my mother-in-law lives with me! If it was not for her living with me and being home on Mondays I would not be getting mine tomorrow. Gah... hurts to say that.

Just talked to a VZW "all knowing lol" rep, she said my phone is pending shipment. Oh boy.

And if you call them back, you will get a different answer from someone else. They have no clue.
