Correctly me if I'm wrong, but there might be some issues with iTunes. I noticed while I was browsing the last couple days, it has been really sluggish. Anyone know why? And it can't be the Verizon iphone since it has been sluggish even before they started arriving.

it has been slow. i have had the same problem. i did skip the update for the phone, it would have taken 6 hrs. will try somewhere else.
Activation complete.
Went smooth for me. Just did it via iTunes. Startled me a bit when my new iPhone started receiving txt messages.
Just powered off my "old" Crackberry Curve 8330.
Made first call on iPhone...schweet. Didn't drop the call or anything too. Pretty cool!

is the FEDEX sight still "down"? Mine still hasn't updated at all from 7:14 am and it still says "at FEDEX facility".

...that's exactly what the instructions say. You should get an error, and then you should call. Have no fear!
I get an error when I accept the agreement with the first phone and hit activate later which won't even allow me to get the point where you switch it over to the line I want it to be on. That isn't what happened to you was it? It sounds like you got an error when putting in the info for the 2nd phone.

Wouldn't you know it, I blew out my tire on a pothole on the way home from classes. I've got more classes at 4pm, but can't go because now I don't have a ride. Which means I'll be home when my iPhone arrives... what a shame.

It would appear that FedEx's online tracking has about an hour delay... It just changed to "Feb 7, 2011 1:27 PM On FedEx vehicle for delivery"... well it is now almost 2:20.
Philly here... nothing yet. Note was still taped to my door from this morning too, so they definitely haven't come yet.

This thread has been way too much fun. My status hasn't changed on Fedex for a while.
