Did anyone activate their iPhone to an alternate line other than the line was purchased for? I wanted to know how smoothly the process is that Verizon gives you on verizonwireless.com/iphoneupgrade
haha....i am in the same situation but have no idea what it means. Mine updated around 1PM to be being in Philly at 629PM😕
Closing in on 2 O'Clock!! And no sign of FedEx! Are they really going to milk this delivery time to 3?! 😡
And you well shouldn't you KNOW they can hear you now - or at least when you get the plastic off 😉

yes and don't bother trying yourself: it will fail.
What you do is:
Activate your iphone with iTunes
Log into my verizon and click the line that purchased the phone and click activate device. It should automatically show the iphone. Check the box and enter your last 4 digits of your Social Security Number and click Activate Later, not Now.
Then call VZW (1-800-922-0204) and tell them you want to activate your iPhone to the line that didn't have an upgrade and give them the MEID. It took me 5 minutes in total.
I'm so upset.
My phone got to my local facility this morning, but it never showed up on my tracking as at destination facility, just an arrival scan.
In the middle of the afternoon, of all a sudden there was "Adverse Weather Conditions" at 5am...this is South Louisiana...the weather is not "adverse" right now.
I call UPS to see what's up, and he's like all I know is it's in transit, it could be anywhere. It's on it's way to you but something happened that it couldn't come today. To which I ask about the weather remark, and he says that could mean there are poor weather conditions ANYWHERE in the country that has messed up their system.
And to add insult to injury, he said I can't come pick it up, because it could be "on a train, on a truck, we don't really know."
So basically, UPS has no idea where they left my phone, and if it's snowing in Hawaii, I'm not going to get it today. The thing has been in my town or in a town an hour from me for the last three days.

So did I, last I checked it left Louisville i'm in San Diego so will def. not get it 'til tomorrw, I at least made myself useful today, went to verizon and picked up some screen protectors and a case 🙂
Ok, thanks. You wouldn't happen to know how late customer service stays open till do you? I don't get off work tonight until 8:30pm and I really, really want to activate this phone tonight
