Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

OK, so now I can get back to MY life...the main reason I've been checking back on this thread after receiving mine earlier today was to see if you got your phone! Welcome to the group of proud owners!:D

I have the same exact situation..
I got the email at around 8AM and i have this..
Philadelphia, PA, United States 02/07/2011 6:29 P.M. Arrival Scan

Which makes NO sense because it was put up at like 4 or something and its still not 6:29!?

I live really close to Philly, so should i expect it tomorrow?

Depends upon how late FedEx, or whomever the carrier is, delivers in your area. They may be working OT with all of these phones being delivered today. I hope you get yours delivered soon.

Well, been tracking the status of my phone all day. It went out for delivery, knocked on my door, and is back at the fedex hub and all i can do is watch. About to leave work and head to a 4 1/2 hour class. Why do I torture myself?
 
You know what? I'm not going to open the iphone up box just yet. I'm going to look at it for awhile, take a deep breath, and absorb all this...

Has anyone attempted putting a Otterbox for At&t on their VIphone? Wanna know if it fits!

I get mine tom!!!
 
i know so many ppl who have gotten there phones today, and seriously its driving me insane.
I WANT MY PHONE!
how many fricken places does it have to go before my house, seriously!? hopefully it will just deliver out of philly i live right over the bridge.
OH and mine still doesnt have a delivery date, is that a bad sign..?

Mine just said "MON deliver by: 07Feb11 AM"
Good thing, too. We are just now being hit with a big snow and wind storm.Hope most of the phones made it from truck to person in this area already. It is just now after 3PM.
 
ok so I can officially join the club of "hearing a delivery truck and racing to the door to see if it's my precious iphone" funny thing is it's probably not even in my state yet scheduled to be delivered tomorrow 10am:(

give me a picture of the case and I can tell you if it'll be likely to fit or not. The ones with a single long hole should work - the ones that have specific slots for the mute button will most likely not. the case I ordered was for the at&t model, but should work fine -- same with the ones my parents got. lucky, my dad picked up theirs from best buy on his way home; I have to wait 2-4 days for mine to come ): ): ): ):

My husband ordered them and then we realized they say they are just for the AT&T phones. They NOW have a big green box telling you this, guessing a lot of people did what we did, and called and tried to cancel...they ship fast. ha ha

Um, I did the same, its like that post-Christmas let down I'm hoping to avoid.

And I was waiting to see you get your phone as well.

Sadly the kids want diner & I promised them AFTER my phone came I'd start feeding them regular meals again.

It was funny because I was pretty calm about waiting for it. Trying not to get too excited and then when the FedEx guy's truck came (I heard it from my room!) I dashed towards my door and I saw him through the kitchen window.

Geez, those 15 seconds that it took for the FedEx guy to scan the box and come to the door felt like an eternity! My heart was beating so fast :) The box itself was so beautiful.

I've been playing around with my phone for a while.
Haven't taken off the screen cover just yet..!
About to go off and get some protector and a case.. Really would like some recommendations? I don't want to get really fatty cases..


To others, I wish you luck. Patience is truly the key and it's ALL worth it!! :eek:
