Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

I agree ipad 2 rumors coming next. Im not getting one as im completely happy with att but I dont mind all the verizon stories its been dead here anyway. Plus im glad verizon finally got it now all my verizon friends who wont shut up about their droids will come see the light.
 
Let's hope Tim "Master of Supply Chain" Cook has ordered enough phones for manufacture to satisfy the throngs of humanity that deluged the VZ website this morning.
 
I am confused by this story as I thought everyone was waiting for iPhone 5 and no one was going buy iPhone 4 on Verizon.
 
Just checked, and my credit card has been charged. Still waiting on the confirmation email from Verizon... If we don't receive that soon, I'm betting that there's some sort of catch to this, and that there's a hold on the shipment until a certain day.

Otherwise, if we do get that email, I'll be celebrating.

Edit: I was #22 in orders.

I have to agree about the droid customers. Don't get me wrong, I think the android system is ok and there are a few things I even like better than apple's iOS. But when you look at the whole package of the iPhone (Phone, Internet, Address Book & Calendar integration, Music, Videos, etc.) it just is a great choice. I mean my wife is excited to not have to carry three or four different things on her anymore to keep track of all of the things going on in her life. I'm now working on my father-in-law to get him to see that light of Macs.

My order number is 9200, and this is because my alarm on my Droid Incredible didn't go off this morning.... Irony?! (or I didn't set it right or something). But when I finally woke up realizing it was way later than 3am (about 7:30) I got my order in. I checked and my card hasn't been charged but my order says that it is processing. I am leaving for a trip on the afternoon on the 10th so hopefully it comes before then. I'll post when my ships. And for the record I don't know what the complaints for being slow at 5am EST were from, I ordered at the above time and it was really fast.

I completed my order at 3:11 am. My order number was 17558. That is unreal that in 11 minutes they were already over 17000 orders. Incidentally my order status says, "We have received your order and it is in process". It also shows ACE Order Location D771101. Whatever that means.

Actually a lot of people (including myself ) recieved their AT&T iPhone 4 online orders before the offical launch date, so I am betting people WILL receive them before the 10th.
Along with that the verizon page even stated that iphones will be delivered on or before the 10th.
It would be a good idea to ship them early to take some of the strain off all the people activating their iPhones on the 10th.
 
I have Ace Order #197 and mine also says shipped. I am doubting that it will be here in 2 days but a man can dream.

my shipping location is: Order Location: D7708-01

Im geussing these phones are all in the USA already

I did two different orders, one for another family member. Interestingly the first one is listed as shipped, while the second one is listed as in process and I can make modifications to the payment. So it could actually imply that these phones are shipping out early.

EDIT: So I just checked again and now the second one is listed as shipped and no longer can make modifications to the payment.
