Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

Why is everyone freaking out we all know we are going to get are phones Monday for most people who have tracking numbers both ups and FedEx. I don't understand why we keep calling into places they don't know jack. RELAX PEOPLE

got shipping info on 2/3/11 10:50 PST.
Shipping from ONTARIO, CA
package arrived @ Ontario airpot 1:48 AM PST Fri
and plane left @ Fri 02:13AM PST to seattle

hopefully my iPhone was able to get into that plane..

Fedex tells me on the phone there is no way how they can hold it for pickup .... Verizon says the same thing ... but also made sure to tell me it's not coming until the 10th

I stop by the place at lunch and the lady says sure we can do that , prints out some form and says I'll have it pulled off the truck and you can pick it up after 9am Monday morning.

As I've posted in this thread too, Apple in the past (for me at least) has shipped quite a bit from their Memphis warehouse. FedEx has notices on their site that their hub in Memphis has been snowed in. It actually is very possible its been sitting there due to this if FedEx wasn't there. As someone who has worked for a company shipping thousands of boxes via FedEx a day, I can tell you that when the Memphis hub gets shut down, the boxes that don't get re-routed beforehand get stuck for a day or so.

i believe memphis is Fedex's central sorting and routing location. just like Louisville is UPS

I ordered 3 iPhones -- 2 alone (shipped UPS) 1 with accessories (FedEx)

I am just loading verizonwireless.com then up top....check my order status...put in 16 digit # and last night....get "page is not currently available..

I will just wait until official launch date and pay the $699 instead of $749 scoundrels.

They'll tell you that it already shipped, but they don't have tracking information accessible to them at the moment.

+1. Heard some delays coming out of Memphis because of weather. Mine is coming out of Ontario, CA. It left that facility early this AM. Won't get here until Monday. That'll be soon enough for me. I have been waiting for enough years for this to happen. Verizon is the only reliable carrier in my state so I had to wait and wait for this day. A couple of more days will be fine. It's coming to my office which is closed over the weekend anyway. Chill people and enjoy the moment when it arrives.

That's why they would deliver on Monday. Once people get their phones, trouble shooting tickets will sky rocket. They usually do.
