Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

But seriously. If there's ever a package that they should have made sure was signed for and taken inside, it was this one. I'm shocked-I've had to sign for ridiculous items for FedEx, but not for this? Not even a knock to make me aware that a package arrived. Glad I was here anyways because I was able to take it inside.
me thinks i'm most curious as to what this package was...
For what it's worth:
I ordered around 2:55AM, later received a confirmation email, then a shipping email. Check status on VZW.com said estimated ship was 2/3. Later yesterday (around 4:00PM) got my tracking info from FEDEX.
The FEDEX information said shipping 2/3 for a 2/4 BEFORE 3:00PM delivery. BUT the problem is all I have when I track it is information that the "shipment information has been sent to FED EX" but there is NO other scans or delivery information. It still says today by 3:00PM though.

God I hope mine arrives Monday even though I haven't received the tracking number. I ordered prior to 3am too.
Yeah, I've seen that happen before. I'ms till planning on it being here today. UPS policy is if it is scanned in before 8PM for Next Day -- It must arrive next day -- Guaranteed.
Hahaha. I've been having the same dilemma, actually... not sure if I should leave it.... "raw".... or put a cover on it. It's so pretty without a case, but it looks like one of those phones that's just a magnet for scratches/fingerprints/premature death without a case. One drop is all it takes. Hmmm..
And yeah, if you haven't gotten an update saying that your phone is on a vehicle for delivery by early morning, it's safe to assume it's not coming till Monday.
I called to double check just in case I screwed up something with my order and the CSR told me the order is fine and in the system but was adamant(as mentioned in an earlier post) that no phones would ship until the 10th so oh well...
It would've been cool to get the phone before someone would just walk into a store get one.
There is a chance I may not be home, funny enough. I am leaving a note on the door with the tracking number and my signature just in case. I'll die if they don't leave it.
I'm stuck at "shipping info received" since 8:14 this morning, not even an origin scan... (shipping to Virginia, D771101)
Quick question for you multiple iDevice folks. I have an iPad (64GB Wifi) and automatically sync only checked content in iTunes. How do I handle multiple devices as I only have one library/user account? Is there a way to handle multiple devices?
Yeah I can't remember the last time I've been this obsessive about a package coming in. And I actually have another UPS package out for delivery, actually a new hard drive from my Macbook pro and I know that when I see a UPS guy today it won't be for my phone. I could care less about that hard drive right now!

Damn nothing worse than having another package delivered today. I swear if my mom gets something delivered from pottery barn or something via UPS and he doesnt bring me my iPhone i'm not signing for it.
You know what their limit of liability is? REFUND ON SHIPPING. You did not pay for shipping.
Furthermore, you don't know what policies VZW had UPS agree to in regards to early delivery.
It won't arrive today, sit tight and wait for Monday.

Aroszak me too. Same shipping location, going to VA. Same "shipping information received." It has been that way since 4:00PM yesterday afternoon. I haven't gotten any other updates.
Got my FedEx tracking number a few moments ago....can't believe I'm saying this but I can't wait for Monday!
Also I got a call this morning from Verizon CS asking about the number I'm porting over. While I held on the phone they called T Mo to make sure the port will go smoothly.

It's nothing too crazy, but there would be huge complications if it was stolen, possibly legally as well. Sorry for being vague, but being that it's not mine, I don't want to say what it is on a forum.
