West Chester update....forget about it for today guys. It's not going to arrive here in New York anytime soon.

For people who aren't familiar with UPS tracking, "Departure Scan" means you're not getting it today. That's the phrase they use for transportation between UPS facilities.

"Out for Delivery" means it's coming today. "Arrived at <something, I don't remember- destination hub, local UPS, something like that>" means you're getting it the next day it is delivered, and you might be able to pick it up there, if they're still open.

Agree, my friend who works for UPS told me the same thing, we're not getting them today. It's monday for WC.

It appears mine is coming on Monday..I am suddenly feeling a little sick!!

The FedEx orders were picked up by FedEx TODAY, not YESTERDAY like the UPS orders were. Thats why they're getting theirs monday.

Totally agree. My shipment was recieved 2/3 around 4pm. Next day air means next day. It's coming from west chester which shouldn't have any problems with the "snow storm". Very poor job by UPS if it doesn't get here today.
 
apple store order

Anyone order from the apple store, and have a shipped status? Mine still says prepared for shipment, and then says "Delivered by February 10th"
 
Just spoke with UPS and the woman was VERY quick to say "it will be delivered monday and we're very sorry about that" -- Like they've been telling people with West Chester packages that all day....


She did say it did leave West Chester at 11:30 and could arrive at your local hub tonight or later today... and if you want to pick it up, you need to call the shipper (Verizon) and have them request that it is allowed to be picked up before first delivery attempt...
 
Just received my email notification of shipment.

Via UPS and deliver on Monday.

Calling VZW now to have package held.

Order #1188 placed at 12:57am MST.

...and mine is coming from Ontario, California.
 
Just spoke with one of the all knowing verizon reps, and they said mine has not changed from "order processing" bc they had a problem with their system yesterday and it might not update until Monday, so really I have no idea where my phone is. I did get the standard, it will be there by the 10th though! Most reliable network=maybe. Most reliable order status system=definitely not!

Unless Apple/Verizon told them to hold them for Monday delivery, which has been stated before.

UPS will do what Verizon asks them to do.
 
If it left West Chester at 11:30 AM, my local distribution center (Eatontown, NJ) is about 2 hrs from there and only about 15 minutes from my house. I would assume it is definitely possible some people could receive them today. Holding out hope...

I'm sorry to hear that.

I made sure to use the account owner's name and address exactly as it appears on the bill, so this should not at all be the problem for me.
 
Atleast you guys are getting them on Monday, it's not that long of a wait compared to those of us who have no idea why are packages haven't even shipped yet from Apple.
 
has anyone received a tracking number with the Order Location: N2116-01?
I ordered at 2:50AM EST and I don't even have a tracking number yet!!!:mad::mad:

Great! I figured you had to use the name that was on the credit card, but a rep told me when I called that you have to use the Verizon Account owners name, not the name on the credit card. Whatever. I am going to call when I order next time and make sure everything is right and that my order can process. I would be SICK if I missed out again and had to wait weeks or months for it to be back in stock.

I'm in the same boat as you... But with Verizon. I haven't received a tracking number or anything and just says order processing. :(
