Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

I just checked my tracking number again from PA and it got the departure scan at 11:30am. I will be intercepting this package when it arrives tonight and hopefully pick up tonight or tomorrow morning from my friend at UPS. BOOM!
Called FedEx. My tracking shows "Picked Up" at 6am in Memphis. The rep. said it will get here (Michigan) by Monday. I asked about why it's still sitting there and she said the plane hasn't left yet. Since it's the weekend, they get all the packages together during the day to get ready to fly out. So it will fly out later tonight and then arrive in our cities this weekend. (and get delivered on Monday as shown)

My phone says it departed PA at 1130am as well, and I have been checking pretty much every 10 minutes, I wonder why it took so long to update.
But, where are you seeing weight/expected delivery date etc. I don't see any of that stuff. Do I have to create an account on UPS to see all of that info?

I'm in Boston too. My wife's phone is coming UPS like yours, and actually just noticed that her departure scan is the same as yours, 11:30am from West Chester PA. That's the last update on it. I receive TONS of packages for my home business, mostly Fedex, but also UPS, and I think that the Reading, MA UPS center is where this will end up sometime late tonight/tomorrow. I wonder if I can go get it from the UPS center on Saturday.
What UPS facility is your friend working at? Reading?

Just talked to UPS he said it's still on time to come today. They had problems with the planes and weather, but West Chester is very close and my package is next day air high priority so they will do everything they can to get it there today.
Thanks for letting us know. There's a part of me that is still holding out hope for picking it up tomorrow. If it's at the local office, I'm sure that there's some way that I could work something out with them.
it wont be in fedex or ups system until after verizon has sent you shipping confirmation email.
Sadly for NY area folks, the UPS hub is the one in Mott Haven in the South Bronx...very very bad reputation. I definitely will not be venturing out there tonight to get it. Waiting till Monday is not the end of the world. At least we KNOW now. Think about all the progress we've made from ordering at 3 am and not even getting a confirmation email until an hour later to now knowing for sure it's going to be in our hands Monday morning!
My shipment is gonna be at my house on 2/7/11 thats what fedex told me and it's coming from ontario,ca only an hour away wonder if I can call and have them let me pick it up from them.

HAHAHAHAHA wait for Verizon.....I got my tracking number 4 hrs ago and still nothing from verizon....called their reps to ask them..nothing...no update, but "it should ship by the 10th".....I got fedex numbers with all info. on my own...

Thank you so much, I haven't even gotten a shipping confirmation from Verizon, just order confirmation yesterday, so we might be wasting our time. Thanks for trying.
You are all cracking me up and I thank you cause you are keeping me from going INSANE. 
I ordered my phone at 1:50 and got my order confirmation at 1:54 am (Central time), but have yet to receive a shipping confirmation. Before the Verizon site went down it showed shipped but I have received nothing else. I did call the *611 and it says shipped with 2 day shipping (or something like that.)
