How do you guys check the status of your trade-in? My order section only shows the orders made after I opened up my verzon account(3 more lines I added after I got my phone). Since I was a new customer when I pre-ordered my iPhone 7, it doesn't show up, nor does the trade-in box.

Finally got two confirmation emails stating that my iPhone 6+ trade was received and that the $650 credit would be applied (27.08 over 24 months)
For reference, My tracking number showed Verizon received my trade in on 9/26. So the previous estimates others have posted about taking ~2 weeks to update was pretty close.
I was getting worried since the status was still showing the original message about the shipping box being sent to me, but it wound up being ok 🙂

Anybody know how to check on this if you traded in-store? No submission number on my receipt...just the appraised values.
I got two emails and my estimated trade in will be applied for 24 months@27.08 per month. Credits will be applied within 2 or 3 months. Sweet.
Finally got my second "package arrived" email for the second phone I sent. It's been there about two weeks. Still waiting progress on the first ones appraisal.
Edit. Right after typing this I checked and got the full 650 on one. Wish I could tell which one it was cause my wife's was not in as good a shape and I'm worried it won't bring 650. If it was mine it was a no brainer it would get the full amount. Hers had some nicks in the glass and a slight bend(hardly noticeable so I'm hoping appraisers don't see it). Anyone know if there's a way to tell which phone they appraised if u sent more than one?

Be careful if you package up the phone, tape up the box, then want to double check something. In my case I wasn't sure I turned the phone off. Cut open the tape on the box and actually cut the plastic film holding the phone. Fortunately it doesn't look like I actually scratched the screen. Yikes...
Got my emails yesterday within two minutes of each other. One saying the phone arrived. One applying the trade in value. Can breathe a sigh of relief thank goodness.

Yup, a week after receiving mine, VZW sent me 3 emails back to back to back.
Weird. I just noticed the email I received today back to back was for them receiving my second phone and approving its appraisal. The first one they emailed about a week ago for receiving it is still being appraised. Wonder if that's a bad sign that they are docking money on that one.

I bought the iPhone 7 + at the Apple Store with the IUP and changed to Verizon DPP, on a date prior to the end of the trade-in offer.
Then walked into a Verizon Corporate store on October 1 after the deal was over thinking I wouldn't get the $650. But thankfully because I started the process prior to the end. I was also happy to find they would do the trade in for me there even though I bought from the Apple Store. It was very easy.

I called yesterday and hey said it looked like I had $650 credit on their side. Still hasn't shown up on mine, but looks like it's taken care of.

I placed my order on 9/12 with the expectation that I was going to trade-in my phone for the $650 credit. Estimated ship date is 11/23. Would I qualify for the $650 still or the new $550 trade-in offer?

Orders place prior to 9/30 will get the $650 credit. Orders placed 10/1 and after get $550 credit.

There won't be a submission number if you traded in store, all you have is your receipt so be sure and keep it until the bill credits show up on your bill.

I just traded in an iP6 in store for an order placed on 9/30/16 and received $650 ($27.08/mo) bill credit TIV. For orders on or after 10/1/16, $550 for iP6s/6s+, $450 for iP6/6+ and $300 for iP5/5c/5s.

They have to submit a form called Trade-in Promo Correction/Recalculation and the trade in department manually adjusts the TIV. Did you speak to someone in the TID?

Yes, finally. After being transferred/on hold for 45 minutes, told conflicting info, and lied to by reps who made promises they didn't/couldn't keep, I spoke with someone in the TID who got it sorted for me. Yesterday, I called back and spoke with a CSR who said it was all showing up on my account and that by today/tomorrow the $215 credit will be withdrawn and the $650 promo credit plan will be applied.
I've always been happy with and had good experiences with VZW. Of course they aren't perfect, but CSRs usually take care of folks. This experience though, has been a cluster****.

Nope, I didn't do it in store. Mailed it off. Took about two weeks for me to receive this email once the phone was inspected.
