I have. And the reason why I asked them because my phone had some minor knicks at the bottom where the speakers were so I was curious if there was a chance to get it requoted and they told me if it did they will let me know and if somehow I wasn't happy with it they wouldn't mind sending it back to me.
You obviously haven't read the terms. I'm sure you will be fine with a couple of nicks but you are spreading disinformation when you say they will return the device if it appraises less than the promo amount. From the trade in site:
- Will I still get promotional value if my trade in device isn't in good working and cosmetic condition?
No. In order to be eligible for this promotion, the trade in device must be in good working and cosmetic condition, as determined by Verizon Wireless. Each returned device must:
- Be able to power on and off
- Have a working battery
- Have an intact, functioning LCD screen and glass with no cracks or breaks
- Have intact charging ports and aux/headphone jacks (not broken or missing)
- Connecting ports must be free of visible corrosion and water damage
- All password-protected security features are turned off (ex. Find My iPhone / Activation Lock).
If your trade in device does not meet these requirements then you are not entitled to the device promotional bill credits and will instead receive the current market value of the trade in device minus any prior device promotional bill credits as a one-time credit.
