Ordered on 9/29 with ship date of 10/14. Did ship on 10/14. Verizon provided me with a tracking number which FedEx has no record of. Is this normal?
Also, how long should it take on average (US, New York area) until it arrives?
I think I'm going to cancel my order...
The silver version is in stock at my local Apple store and I'm honestly not prepared to stick with Sprint for another month when my contract is up just to get a gold phone. The November 11th ship date is just ridiculous.

If you're an unlimited data glitch person, be very, very cautious. Read the invoice that's included in your package as mine said the 2GB data package while my email says unlimited data. I called twice. The first rep ("Liz") was as far from helpful as could be. The second ("Josh") was slightly more helpful but was still cautious about me doing it. I'm going to activate the device on another account and do a switch to see how that works.
If in doubt, call, call, call again. I've seen a number of success stories but it takes some time and patience. Or a secondary line.

That's weird because verizon themselves officially said that they would honor the glitch unlimited subsidized phone purchases. Good luck.

I ordered in store on 9/28 and my 32GB Space Gray iPhone is on the truck for delivery today. I was originally quoted a ship by date of 10/28.![]()
Unlimited Glitch Upgrader Here...
Tried activating my 5s shipment last night but ran into issues. Called VZW they confirmed the issue was me having unlimited on the account. They tried to pull me off and put me on max (6gb). Said no, said they issued a statement saying they would honor it. Was put on hold for five minutes. They came back saying they found the statement saying they would honor it and they would take care of it. Tried to activate again... No dice. They had to pull unlimited data to activate then reissue it.
Just an FYI for my mr VZW friends.
Mine still says shipping 10/28 on a 32GB grey order from the store on 9/30.
