I'd sue somebody if they did that to my Watch! THAT is nasty. o_O
To those who say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I say, "Get your eyes checked".

I just looked at it again...I mean...? The digital crown...? What the...? Halloween is over.

I'd probably appreacite the 'gesture' more..

I send in watch to repair, but i get back a $2,200 gold watch... *by mistake*

Just as long they don't charge me that much as well.

That box looks a bit shoddy. You can see the magnet holding it closed and the hole edges in which it sits are rough. Shame. It's those little details that Apple fusses over that are missing here.

So I just checked their website for Apple watches and iPhones.
Basically they are designing stuff for drug cartel members that you would imagine to see in Narcos if it was happening nowadays.

I'll keep my Rolex Submariner, no date, two liner. THE classic, minimalist Sub. Took a year to build...thanks though ;)

And to my mind, that's still 400hrs wasted. I admire craftsmanship but believe a large part of being a great craftsman is actually knowing where and how to apply your skill. This to me is just pretentious rubbish.
Surprise...you don’t have to buy it. There are lots of things I don’t like but it doesn’t mean it is rubbish. The real pretentious thing is your post.

Just makes me laugh that someone spent 10k on an original Apple Watch that is super slow and can’t even run watchOS 5.

Would you ever shell out so much extra cash for a custom Apple Watch? Let us know in the comments

Why write a long article about a product that not a single MacRumors reader will be able and willing to buy? To generate mockery and envy? This falls back here to the article writer. A man who would be better employed at THE SUN with too much time for third class information.

well, A for effort. Personally I would like a pattern with leaves, or celtic design. Also tribal or west coast aboriginal would be nice.

Great watch, but that "one year" in Rolex's marketing is more like a few hours in reality. Unless one arbitrarily includes precursor steps, and in that case anything can take an eternity to make, including the Apple Watch.

No matter what the finish, when not in use (which is most of the time) Apple watch looks like a black blob. While some people might find it useful, as an accessory it's just plain ugly.
