I don't know why he went on and on about a supposed $100 price difference. The price difference wouldn't matter at all. Didn't we learn that with the 5C. People will buy what they like.

You guys do realize that every iPhone has leaked every year right ?

Literally every iPhone except the original has leaked . This IS what the new iPhones will look like . They are starting to be mass produced .

Believe it people . This news repeats itself every . Year .

Yes, I know, but, only Apple knows if these leaks are true.

If I get the 5.5" model, I don't need to buy an iPad Mini. If I get the 4.7" model, I might need an iPad Mini. I don't know which one to pick... first world problems.

well, thats just apple...

i dont understand this fella. he says "the bottom and top bars are huge and thats just apple and we have to deal with it".

does he not realize that the phones have not been released by apple yet? what he is holding are mockups. we dont actually have to "deal" with anything yet. he is talking about them like he has the real thing in his possession.

Bigger for What

My 5s is almost to big,it goes in my pocket No I don't carry a bag. Now Apple 's a follower doing what everybody else is doing. wtf I here somebody saying Think different, and I really like apple and always will but this bigger thing is really doing me,somebody let Tim Cook know Cause maybe he for got ,Think Different!

This guy makes no sense... the 5.5 is so big he feels like he needs a stylus to use it?? So how would one use a tablet??

As for people complaining about the large bezels, give it a rest. It's needed for Touch ID which is awesome and worth the extra bezel space. Ok, so the top bezel can be smaller, but considering how thin it is, I'd be willing to bet that extra bezel is put to good use by packing a larger battery. Also, no one seems to be talking about the overall volume... it seems thinner than the Note 3 which means volumetrically, the iPhone 6 5.5" is probably very similar or possibly even smaller. We'll all see in a few months, I guess.

My biggest question is what Samsung will do when the iPhone is close in size to the Galaxy screen. For a couple years now their main selling point has been on screen size with the software or other features as a side note.

The 5.5" is obnoxious. I seriously hope its just a rumor...

I personally don't believe that Apple is a big fan of the larger screen, but they are giving into the 5.5" in order to gain back or keep some from switching to a phone like the Galaxy. Hence, the 4.7 is probably more like something they would design if it weren't for the competition. It's not necessarily a bad thing for Apple to adjust to the competition sometimes. Regardless, I am willing to bet that the iPhone with the 5.5" screen will dominate when it comes to battery life.

On several occasions, fake designs were so widespread case manufacturers made tons of cases only to throw them all away because the models going around were fake.

Those latest designs were leaked by Sonny Dickson - an Aussie guy who correctly leaked iPhone 5 and iPad Mini/Air designs.

Not saying it's foolproof, but he's likely to be correct. When this many leaks are all similar, chances are they're on the money.

If it walks like a duck...

My iPhone 5 is too small.

How can this be?

Too big. What I'd actually like is a 4.3" in a thinner body so it would be similar to the 5. IMHO the 5 is already a bit big (I have a work phone 4 also and in some ways I still like that size).

Galaxy Note owner here

I have been using my brothers first gen Galaxy Note for quite a while now, it has a 5 inch screen and to be honest with you, I have become quite use to it. I surely could never go back to anything like a 4 inch. The video is interesting though, because 4.7 is definitely a contender, the 5.5 looks a bit hard to maneuver.

All the people screaming about the fat bezel on the 5.5" version are crazy. I love it because I hate carrying an iPad Mini with me, small as it is. The 5.5" is perfect. I'm never going to notice the bezel or the antenna lines after I slap a case on it anyways. Who the heck uses an iPhone without a case?!

I do. I've ditched cases long ago.

I realized why get an iPhone to cover it with some trashy looking case. I buy an iPhone for what it is.

Ah man, can't wait to get the 5.5, jailbreak it, install BTC mouse and keyboard stack, and make it my all-in-one device.

I really don't think the 5.5" model made it past the prototype stage.
As you said, it's obnoxiously large. Also, every "part" leak aside from dummy cases has been for the 4.7" model so far.

I don't see Apple introducing 2 new devices at 2 completely new resolutions (with potentially different specs and features)when a big point of pride is the lack of fragmentation in their development community.

As the guy in the video said in about a million words, the 4.7" would be the preferred model anyway. There's no reason to make a bigger one just to say you did.

Well that seals the deal for me on the 4.7". That bezel is way too crazy on the 5.5". I think 5" with a tiny bezel would be ideal. My wife hopes the 4" model doesn't go away or that they bring back the 3.5" model because it actually fits in her pocket and hands.

Serious question: Are there any good Android phones that are smaller? If Apple completely leaves out another size segment again then they'll lose sales to people in that range next. Eventually my wife will want to upgrade from her iPhone 5 to get a better camera or some future feature like wireless payments. She shouldn't have to get a phone that is uncomfortable for her to use to get those features. Charge us more, I don't care! It just needs to be an option. I think it's pretty lame to draw someone into your ecosystem, have them invest a bunch of money, and then stop selling a device that comes in a size that is useable to them. That iPhone 5 won't run forever, and it definitely won't be supported forever.
