The iPhone hadsn't officially been released yet, so perhaps when it is released, then maybe the stand will be centre stage.

EDIT: Hey! I took this to Page 6!

"iPhone" has been out almost a month. Apples phone product, however, isn't, whatever that will be called :p

Sorry, but the staff got really suspicious even with me walking about with a cameraphone in my pocket filming! :D

So? What can they do to you? It's not illegal to film in the store, is it? Bring in a full fledged camera, I'm curious what they'd say :)

I don't know where you're posting from GFLPraxis, but this guy is in the United Arab Emirates taking this video, not the United States. Perhaps photographing and or videographing in businesses is indeed frowned upon. And as to being curious as to what they say, what if they take his full fledged camera and break it? Will you replace it for him? Just my $0.02 worth.

You can film in stores as long as you ask for permission first.

My friend tried to do filming in a few stores for a documentary for uni, got kicked out off them because he hadnt asked permission.

Willis is right...especially in the last couple of years. I used to work in a large mall and often saw security confiscate video tapes and force digital camera owners to delete photos and escort them off the premises.

When I was in the San Francisco Apple Store, we took pictures of products on the shelf to compare to our own product design. The one Apple Store employee who saw me didn't seem to mind. I did have my WWDC badge on at the time (it was during WWDC), so maybe that's why he allowed it.

4 months - is it really that long? :D

Yes, it is indeed connected to the iPhone, just as I thought. - Like balls it is :D, turned out just to be some crappy demonstration for an iPod cassette adapter.

Never mind, it looked interesting at the time :D
