This is MacRumors. It's guilty until proven innocent, and he has done nothing to prove that it is any more than an old Apple prototype or a back panel swap.

If it were... bad choice of words here, but... REALLY real, he wouldn't have posted that one tiny crap image in my thread two days ago. He would have posted images on par with the quality of the pictures of the unibody MacBook/Pro prior to launch.

It can't be an old prototype though. It must be pretty new because of the Mini Display port if it even is a prototype.

I do not think anybody would waste their time to do that on this possible prototype Mac.

That is definitely a photoshop. 96GB of DDR3 doesn't even exist. Much less that OS X would support it.

Probably not. There have been plenty of video of possible rumored products that were very convincing. People may not believe anything until it comes out officially.

It looks fake to me. It is so obvious, design wise, it just does not fit with the other Macs. As well, it looks pretty ugly to me (waiting all this time for a ugly refreshed designed box ?)

Looks real to me, now that I've seen a video of it but like you say it could be a mock up from days long gone , who knows maybe the guy/gal will post some other'evidence' ?

The photo did look dodgy but I've got to admit I think this video proves me wrong , it's a real machine imo , I also am just not sure if it's the 'new' mini that's all, maybe just one of the USUAL Apple 'leaks' prior to launch, you know?, to do what is happening right now , creating MASSES of traffic all about Apple.

I reckon the case will not be white but then again they are keepin the whitebook around so maybe that help tie the product line together .

I would love to see this happen. If so, it will make up for neutering the MacBook's FW. I would definitely upgrade my Mini and stimulate this economy.
