Is that incredible? I mean it's unwise, perhaps stupid and reckless, but it's not really incredible - the thing has high-quality live passthrough video, it's not surprising that you'd be able to drive with it on (even if you shouldn't).
I don't think the "incredibly" in this situation meant "wow, can you believe that actually worked?" but rather "wow can you believe the actual stupidity?"

What an idiot, 1st. This is not the first person to drive wearing VR, just the first person to get caught. 2nd. If you're going to be stupid and wear a head set while driving, don't drive the most unique looking, rare care on the road. 3rd. Tint your windows if your going to be stupid, actually just tint your windows, should be the first thing you do when you buy a car after you peel off the dealership stickers.

This is the greatest video ever and so fun. The secretary of transportation needs to relax and not be a tool.

EDIT: Oh wow, I didnt realize everyone else had not had their coffee and thought some goofy video made for TikTok was to be taken seriously and were all up in arms about it. Relax everyone. It just the smash up of two hot tech items for the clicks.

This is very dangerous imagine the device shutting off or glitching while driving. AVP’s cameras should detect a person at the wheel and ask the driver to remove it.
You have a few seconds before the cameras turn off, even if the AVP crashes, but still, this is a new level of stupidity.

A moment's look should make it clear that you're way off the mark here. Yes, the Vision Pro has high quality pass through and you could easily drive with it on, if that's how you were using it. THIS driver obviously isn't using it that way. He or she is using gestures left and right, interacting with a window or something that's clearly between the eyes and the road.

The reason it's not incredible is that the autopilot, for all its bad press, is really quite good. That's why there were people famously being jerks sitting in the back seat of their Tesla while it drove them around.

Ever since that one guy in the shower with Google glasses, the bar (and challenge) of imbecilic behavior on the part of techie boyz remains unabated.
