I recorded some videos in 4k. The current one I'm transferring is a 3.2 GB file, using Image Capture. It's taking 30 min to copy it to a Thunderbold connected SSD drive (Samsung Pro).

I get that the iPhone 7 uses USB 2.0 only, which sucks, but it shouldn't THIS slow. I have transferred files between an external HD using a 5400 rpm drive and USB 2.0 and a similar sized file would take no more than a couple of minutes.

I bought this iPhone with the intention of filming.

So I talked to Apple and wasted 5 hours reinstating my operating system among other useless things, and the conclusion is that the iPhone 7 transfer speed is garbage. A $1000 phone that is garbage. I’m selling and getting a real phone. F@ck Apple.
