Always bet on black.
But it'd just so basic. The said, I did also order a black band.
Always bet on black.
Normally I would agree, but it's gotten to the point where it is very hard to find the articles that are NOT about the Apple Watch. Normal skimming does not work.
Wait a sec
The production iWatch is fatter than the version they previewed?

The response video I'm most looking forward to is me going "FINALLY" when my status changes from "Processing Items" to "Shipped."

The sport bands, especially that green one shown in this article, seem to be more flattering "in person" than in Apple's super-bright renders. It's a much nicer shade than the yellow-green I see on their site. I really hope they come out with a bunch of other colorsspecifically red!
I wish I would have learned more about how my work's wellness incentive works before the pre-order night. Was on the fence until I learned I can earn a small pile of cash to help pay for it! Now I'm waiting until June for my SS 42mm Milanese. I really like what I'm seeing from app developers so fareven in this early stageand am starting to realize the additional benefit of wearing one.
So ifixit broke the watch in the teardown process. at least its doable to change the battery.
The first thing I thought of when my SS Watch arrived at my door: "Geeze this is a heavy box! Did they send me a bunch of Watches??"It turned out to be just the one I ordered, but the boxing materials, case, etc. are truly premium, causing the heavy weight. The device feels fantastic on my wrist; the white fluoroelastic band looks so clean and hip, but doesn't feel like plastic or rubber it feels like what would happen if oxygen-free rubber and a supple Italian leather band got drunk at a party, and got dirty. It's a love child that is sure to create conversation.

To call this a launch is a joke. This has been a complete FUBAR, but the team at Apple. I really hope they can get their act together quickly and clean up the smelly stuff quick.
As for the teardown, I am always facinated watching them destroy a perfectly good product and how much it is totally pointless. I doubt I would ever take my Apple stuff to get it repaired anywhere other than apple. (just be careful to step around the mess on aisle 4 - the watch aisle).
I was hoping to see one of the higher end watches - so far it looks like everyone bought the cheapest entry level sport watch.
But...we've been told here that the packaging looks cheap.
I think I am not the first one, but it would be awesome if there was some kind of toggle switch to turn off the apple watch articles on the front page.
OK so the Apple Watch is finally here - great! I don't see this thing selling anywhere near as well as the iPhone or iPad but hey... ...what do I know?
All I will say is that if Apple are not already heading down the road developing a Magic Leap like visor device, then their days at the top of the tech tree are numbered.
If Magic Leap is even half as good as it seems to be, then every cell phone - tablet - portable computer (and smart watch) is dead in just a few years.
My 10 year old (iPod, iPad, iMac user) wants the Magic Leap as soon as it's released - he's not at all interested in the Apple Watch (or any other watch, smart or otherwise).
Time will tell...![]()
Its a generation 1 product in an entirely new categoy. Its idiotic to buy any other model. Its painfully obvious how much thinner and faster the next one will be. It a couple years this thing will look hilarious
