Los Angeles Railyards - Part 2

I re-edited this video with new footage and photos I shot today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFC5j28GDOQ

Shot and edited entirely on the iPhone 4. Apps used included Hipstamatic (for the photos) Almost DSLR, CinemaFX for Video, 8mm Vintage Camera, ReelMoments and edited with iMovie for the iPhone. This was also my first test with the Owle Bubo (though still kind of shaky when walking over thick, rough gravel and train tracks!) Comments greatly appreciated.

More Drag Racing with the iphone

Post 691 was my Chevelle Drag Racing.

This is my iphone fitted between the headrest and the seat-back in a good friend's ridiculously fast GTO......

I don't think I have ever seen better video quality from in car videos like these.

Best device on the planet.

Here's the car...

Where is iMovie for the iPad? I recently got an iPhone and am impressed with what can be done in such a portable format. But am disappointed they don't have an iPad version. Are there plans to release an iPad version anytime soon?

Thanks!!

Hi Guys, i just got my iPhone about 2 weeks ago (upgraded from an iPhone 2G) and have been enjoying the 720p video capabilitiy quite a lot.
Firstly a picture of my portable stabilizing rig:

Glif + Original gorillapod + two rubber bands (just in case!)

I upload videos to my vimeo account located here: http://vimeo.com/user3734034/videos

So what do most people prefer as a video host?
Vimeo or Youtube?

Which one seems more lenient as to the video's posted? Or are they about the same?

If you want to record widescreen video while holding your iPhone in portrait position (which is more comfortable) check out the KinKast iPhone app http://kinkast.tumblr.com
gonna check it out
another big apple fail on this
don't yell at me
from the site:
"We’re hoping Apple eventually fixes this. But in the meantime, you can finally record widescreen video with one hand!"
many thanks
this should be a no brainer for apple along with the whole up side down thingy
Edit: problem, no save, just to kinkast site
ouch

Saturday was opening day at our local amusement park, Carowinds.

Shot on an iPhone 4.
Edits and upload using iMovie for iOS on an iPad 2.
No traditional computer was used in the making or upload of this video - who said tablets were for consumption only and no creation??

This isn't meant to be a professional POV coaster view - just capturing a fun day with the family using nothing more than my cell phone.
