I am noticing that my progs are not going into the dock when i switch to unity mode. Is there a way to get it so that they will? I want to be able to open MS OneNote w.o the lag (and drain on my battery) of booting up the full vmware while in class.

Wireless MS Mouse in VMWare really jumpy

I have a wireless MS mouse and kb and I use a kvm as I switch between my iMac 24" and my work xp laptop. When I am in VMWare and using XP the mouse is really jumpy and gets out of control. If I go to single window mode and go back to the mac it is fine, but as soon as I go into the vm XP it just gets jumpy and zippy.

VMware 2 beta with Ubuntu

Asked to reinstall VMware tools. Got in an infinite loop. Uninstalled V2b and installed V1.1.2 and restored VM from backup.

problem with network

I'm having problem connecting to the networking. Tried both NAT and Bridge, but both not connecting to the internet. Anyone encounter the same problem? Any solution? Thx
