Howdy,
I see from this thread some of you love/hate the free iPhone recorder app from Apple. Wanted to know if any of you had a chance to check out Retro Recorder by McDSP.
Since I am the 'Mc' in McDSP, please take all that I am telling you as a completely biased opinion. However, should some of you check out Retro Recorder, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
What is so dang cool about Retro Recorder? Aside from my completely biased opinions about it, Retro Recorder offers something no other iPhone recorder has - enhanced recording capability built right into the app itself.
How? Retro Recorder uses patent pending technology called Audio Level eXtension (ALX) to maximize audio levels without causing distortion.
You record every audible nuance with Retro Recorder! You can actually hear a recording of your kids, capture all the info you need from a business meeting (even the frightened whispering engineer in the far corner), and know your message dictation is going to contain every word loud and clear.
You can toggle the ALX processing right in the user interface of Retro Recorder - you'll be amazed at the difference!
There's plenty more at
www.retrorecorder.com. Thanks for reading!
