VZW Order Status Thread

This thread will be interesting to watch as the 9/19 delivery folks drop off and the 10/7 + people ramp up.
The part I'm interested in (as a 10/7 person) is how many phones the suppliers can turn out in a day, how long it takes to ship them to the US, and how quickly VZW can turn these into order fulfillment.
I'm hopeful that they will fill orders as they come in and not bulk fill the orders for a 10/7 delivery. I'm afraid it will be the latter since they won't ship a box of 50 phones on a 747 (remember the airplane photo?).
I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't get a phone on the 19th but would love to get one before the 7th.

All of the above sounds good, but I've not gotten any pending charges, nothing shows in my order history, no movement at all as of 8am PST Wednesday.
Called Verizon and they said everything looked good, but I'm really surprised I've seen absolutely nothing since I ordered.

Several sites are stating the stats below on the build numbers of iPhones:
"140,000 iPhone 6 Plus and 400,000 iPhone 6 every day"
ordered my 64gb, gold 6 yesterday afternoon and it shipped this morning
I doubt it said, deliver by 10/21 for slate grey yesterday. I know, because I also ordered yesterday around 7 AM EST, and the only 3 models that had 9/19 projected delivery date at that time were:
6 - 64gb, 128gb gold
6 - 128 gb silver
All of the slate grey's were well into october yesterday...
That said, you can still cancel that order and order one of those 3 models, they all still have projected delivery dates of 9/19.

Yesterday, my credit card showed a fraud alert for the Verizon charge. So, I had to call Verizon (I used the 866 number I've seen in this thread) and had them charge a different card since that one kept getting declined for some reason. I got an e-mail saying that my order had moved to the next step and another one saying I needed to agree to the terms and conditions. I had no idea how to do this, so I called them back. After a couple of calls, they confirmed that my order was fine and everything should be progressing as normal. This morning I checked my Verizon order through MyVerizon and had a tracking #. My order will be here Friday!!
I got my order in at 2:45 CST after getting the ECPD error over and over. My Order Location is: 1456901.
Btw, I've been reading this website for years and this is the 4th iPhone I've ordered through Verizon and I finally decided to make an account and post.
Reading everyone's posts has been very helpful and fun.

Status says that the label was created and ready for UPS pickup but no movement overnight. Being in SoCal, it makes me think that I'm just super close to the UPS facility/VZW warehouse that will ship so they won't pick it up until tomorrow.
Smart of VZW and Apple to have the labels created with a 9/18 date ahead of time...that should ensure that UPS can't get them into their overnight system until Thursday right?

yep, this is the reason for the shortage and lengthy delivery dates more so than the demand. producing them at almost 3x slower... giving this false sense of super high demand.

My order for a 6+ 128 GB SG phone finished 4 minutes after pre-orders opened on 9/12. About a hour later I had my confirmation letter quoting a 9/19 delivery date, location N211601. Then nothing until 5:30 pm yesterday when my credit card company contacted me to make sure the Verizon charge was not fraud. And this morning I had the email from Verizon with a tracking number. Currently in West Chester, PA with estimated delivery 9/19 by 3 pm.

I really hope so too...I can't imagine it taking that long. Even for people with 10/14 and 10/21 dates I feel like they will all be pushed up significantly especially if their producing 140,000+ iPhones a day.
