Besides the email confirmation, there has been ZERO activity since I placed the order. No charge and no further information other than "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet. Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time"
It's frustrating that friends that live close by and who have purchased the SAME thing later that morning already have been charged and have a tracking number. But seems like I'm not alone here...

I'm with you in Phoenix Az, I think that is a SW code. same as mineFolks in our area should expect delays due to the remnants of Hurricance Odlie coming through. 6-9 inches of rain is predicted now.

Ya, Phx, AZ here, same code, same no info, same removed estimated ship date(but ordered the 15th). Maybe I'll get bumped up soon as they seem to batch preorder by location.
Nothing here either and I ordered the same phone as you. My order number is 58k. I still don't believe we are going to see it anytime sooner then the 14th..if anything maybe by a few days but not weeks. Hope I'm wrong tho.
Oh whaaat, order loaction D771001 right? That sucks... I got the ip6 16GB in Gold as well, and was hoping to get it Friday since I'll be on travel next week....
I'm sure the order numbers are not corresponding to phone model/color inventory like that... you're in a different line, as you got a different color phone... order number is just overall line.
I've called a few times to get an update/tracking # and to make sure there were no errors or a chance the order would get canceled. They all have said that I will receive it on Friday. I've been through the same steps as you. It's like every portion of Verizon's site that would provide clarification on the order doesn't work or provides no information.
Thank god this is only once a year.
I was told 10/7 was the LATEST that we will receive the devices.
If they get more devices in earlier, they will be shipped earlier to us.
I am willing to bet that 9/19 is out of the question though..
Mine says ship by the 18th, with overnight shipping putting it to my door by the 19th. I would guess if this is what you've been told I would expect the 23rd, and just be excited if it comes earlier than that! Good luck!

update site now shows my order status with my order number, and a blank Tracking number slot.

I thought so too. Mine is 6/16gb/grey. Have a tracking number but not much else. Not worried about Friday because my VZW status shows shipped. Leads me to believe SoCal is very close to the initial holding location, unlike those back east that moved from TN to PA or Newark. Hoping to see movement overnight tonight and at the local facility tomorrow so it will be out for delivery Friday.
If the person in NJ that keeps picking up my phone and scanning it could stop, that would make this a lot easier on my excitement! I hate knowing that its just sitting somewhere, waiting for delivery. I vote that for the next big release, they just send them out when they are ready. This whole "release day" thing is too much.

For some reason, D771101 is not very active it seems. I have the same location. 64 Gold and 64+ Gold. My confirmation said deliver by 10/7. Later in the day on 9/12, my preorder page was changed to Expected Ship Date 9/19. Has been no change, no notifications since then. But the $1 hold on my credit card disappeared!
Yes. We are not alone. Seems to be one of the last locations to process orders.

Here's an order number question. I have number 2,112,XXX. I ordered at 6 AM on pre-order day direct through Verizon for a SG 128+.
There is no way I was order 2.1 Million 6 hours in when they only did 4 million for the whole day. And this is the Verizon Order number, I know Verizon didn't sell 1/2 of the total presales.
Is the first 2 to be ignored making my order number 112,XXX? Or am I really past the 2 million mark?
I assumed that, I was just pointing out that we have similar order # and order location and I've seen nothing but they have. I'm guessing I'm getting my 6+ on 10/14. But until then my iPhone 5 works and I have no complaints.
Yea I think so too, I've had no movement at all other than my verizon notification saying I have a new device waiting to be activated
