Same story here. Hopefully we see some movement today if we have any hopes for delivery tomorrow.
I'm not your location but when mine shipped I didn't get the email till like the next day, I found the tracking number first in the order status.
Lame...all week the two phones for my wife and I were saying they'd be delivered by 3 PM tomorrow. Now they both say by 8 PM. Unfortunately we live in an apartment which means the leasing office who would sign for them closes at 5, and the FedEx guys never bother buzzing people's apartments, they just leave a sticker on everyone's mailbox slot in the main lobby.
So I guess if the phones don't make it by 5 I have to sit outside my building and wait all night?

That's not really good advice. Apple stores may have longer lines, but there is a reason for that. Apple always has 100x the inventory of any other 3rd party location. You could be first in line at one of those stores, but prepare to be disappointed when they don't have the model you want.
Mine says the same thing, but in the past my FedEX guy comes at the same time as normal for iPhone deliveries. Although I live in the middle of no where. Put I'll be right there with you! If he hasn't come by the time the ladies at the front desk leave I'll be hanging out in the parking lot
Yep! As of yesterday I FINALLY got a "Your Order is Processing" notice.
This morning, I got tracking around 2:45am.
Check the preorder site, and see if it's happened yet!

When you go to the preorder page, what does it say?
Don't hold your breath for by 3pm - Verizon's site claims the shipping was UPS Next Day Air 3pm delivery, but the actual tracking number they provided is the UPS Next Day Air Saver product, which delivers by end of day. We'll see tomorrow which one it is...
When I look up my tracking number on UPS, here is what I see:
Scheduled Delivery: Friday, 09/19/2014, by 3:00 P.M.(by end of day for residential deliveries).
I didn't catch the (by end of day for residential deliveries) statement when I first viewed the tracking info. This can be as late as 8-9pm where I live (i.e. suburb of Atlanta.....this is the typical time the UPS truck rolls up). Oh well!
Yesterday it was changed to "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow" and it hasn't changed since then

Using my pre-order confirmation code, the preorder site yesterday said it will ship BY 9/19, but this morning it says check back tomorrow.
