Have you tried logging in to your account on verizonwireless.com?

Because I had a similar thing. My card got charged but I never received shipping confirmation email, and preorder link to check order status never updated for me either. The only way I found out that my order got shipped was because I logged in to my account on verizonwireless.com and saw there that my order got shipped.

Haven't caught up to the thread since I posted this, but about twenty minutes after you quoted me i received the shipping tracking number, haha. Good to go for tomorrow by 8pm! :cool:
 
This thread has been fun, nerve racking and disappointing (for me at least). Ordered on 9/11 at 11:57pm. I ordered a 6+ 16GB SG. Delivery date in email was 10/14. In the website was 9/19 most of the days and then it went to Not available at this time to 10/14. I cancelled the order yesterday and today I'm found making line in second place at my local Verizon store. The manager told me I'm good for my 6+ model. Congrats to everyone else getting their phone tomorrow.
 
So, all week, as I've let be known here, I was told guarenteed by tomorrow. My order number was 289***, D771001, 128 gb silver 6+. Confirmation gave me the delivery date of 9/12. Order was paid for on Wednesday.

Called to check in this morning, no tracking yet. Called again around 5pm, was told it wasn't scheduled to ship today because I placed my order at 5:11am est. I explained my order went in between 3:45 and 3:55am est; and that I received my confirmation email at 5:11am est. The agent also saw in the notes that I was told delivery on the 19th, guarenteed. I was calm about this.

The agent after a pause to check with a supervisor let me know he would fill out one of those "jump the line" requests. He said he couldn't promise it would ship tonight as a result, but if they get it in time, it should.

Again, I didn't yell or scream. That's another human being on the line who's truly trying to help. He doesn't deserve that, even if there was nothing he could do. I thanked him for his help, and advised I would call to check in when I got home. He sounded very pleased and relieved. Plus, I figured, at worst, I'll get it Monday.

Pleased to say I received my tracking info email about an hour ago. Guarenteed for tomorrow by 8pm.

This is why I stay with Big Red. In the times I've had to call in over time, things didn't always go the way I wanted; but I knew I always received an honest effort from the people trying to help me to the best of their abilities. I've read the stories on this thread, and I feel bad for those that things didn't go their way concerning this preorder. But I will always believe that companies can be evil, but it's the people that make a difference. And yes, I would say this even if I didn't get any tracking info tonight.

I'm hugging my phone and weeping. Beautiful story. Hope in a forsaken world.
 
A relative of mine is an ATT store manager at a high volume store. They got about 30 iPhone 6 but absolutely no Plus phones.

that is Exactly what I was told at my local verizon store. Also reading barely one iPhone 6 Plus per Store to sell in Australia. the plus is indeed hard to come by in that Space grey. especially the 16gb model.:)

Just to update you... I got my tracking finally updated via UPS.

Timeline for me was (Pacific Time):

3:11 AM - Tracking number provided (but that is all, no location)
6:32 PM - Origin Scan Louisville. (delivery date says 9/19 3PM)

Final destination: Phoenix, AZ.

So, there is still hope for you...

I have come to the conclusion that Verizon does not care that they upset customers with this pre-order; this is evident with the way some CSR are talking to some customers. Just go look at their Facebook and Twitter it is very evident by their comments

Well who can blame them? Some people are so out of control with how many times they contact customer care.

Just curious...which Verizon store are you waiting at? I live in Orange County as well and I am debating on which store to head to.
 
Just left Newark

After watching my phone jump back and forth between PA and NJ for a few days I just received confirmation that it finally departed Newark.:)
 
Woohoo! They fixed my Verizon account and the upgrade will be applicable to my line! So glad it's fixed before tomorrow! My store dude it said should come in at 2 (I get out of school at 3) but it could come in earlier so he'll text me. Hope it comes before 11:30 so I can get it at lunch :D

Even though it's not for a few more hours, I went ahead and updated my signature. Goodbye Galaxy Shhh.... :rolleyes:
 
So this is my husband's phone, not even mine. Mine is scheduled to ship until 10/7 so I'll have my happy a$$ at Verizon in the early am. His phone (a 128 GB gray 6) left Memphis as 4:11 pm today, we live in Asheville, NC. It's scheduled for delivery by 8 pm tomorrow. I could DRIVE to Memphis and back from when it left to 8 pm tomorrow! Unfortunately, we're leaving around 3 or 4 pm so after all this if I can get my phone at the store in the morning I could have my 6+ before he gets his 6. This whole mess is crazy!

After waiting since Sunday for my iPhone 6 Space Gray 64 GB to leave Newark, NJ, it finally leaves at 9:41. Hallelujah. I was starting to get worried it wasn't gonna come.

So tomorrow when it comes, how do I activate it and all that stuff? I have the 4s now and am upgrading. Any tips?

It says it's gonna come at 8:00 P.M. Will it really be that late?

I ordered mine at 12:05AM pacific time and got the email at 4:00 AM. Delivery date is 9/19 and also I just check the Fedex tracking number and it shows the package is on the way.:)
 
My Space Grey 16gb iPhone 6 has also left New Jersey.

Originated a number this morning.

Just showed "picked up" in Louisville at 10:30.

I think it's safe to say there have been pallets just sitting at the UPS Worldport just waiting for Thursday night shipping.
 
What happens after my phone gets to the airport. Do they drive it to a mail center and then deliever it or...?
