not yet :/ Hoping it will be in a bit. around 6:00 CST Verizon helped rebuild my order which was wrongfully cancelled.

Which model & color? Order time?

I got in 3 min under the gun on 09/12. But a system issue cancelled my order on Tues. So today a rep helped rebuild it & put me back in line. 128GB 6+ Space Gray.

No charge or tracking #. But seeing that change in status was really exciting :rolleyes:
 
6:51pm MST, I Finally receive my overnight delivery tracking number from fed ex, Memphis, Tn.

I was beginning to get very very very pissed being one of the first and getting no tracking number!! Until now.

Just received an e-mail... Verizon Wireless Shipping Notification! With a delivery date of 9/19 by 3pm and tracking information. So when you see your status date change from not available... To 10/14... To 10/7... Your credit card gets charged... You will get a shipping notification with tracking information. lol :) Cannot believe I'm actually going to get the iPhone Plus 128GB Space Gray :apple: tomorrow, as Verizon said from the order date in the confirmation e-mail! Hope it's not too big! :) Good luck to everyone! I appreciate all of the information everyone posted!


Similar experience here-was told my order for a 6+ SG 128 (order finally went through at 3:34 am) was not coming until 10/07, last night by a VZW CSR. Did not give her a hard time, but expressed my disappointment that I had originally been told via email 9/19.

Today, logged on (12 hours later) to see my date had moved to 10/14. Called back to express my dissatisfaction. Got the worst person ever, who actually told me they didn't get any of certain models. I asked him 1) if he had ever heard of the internet and forums, and 2) that I needed to have this process explained to me by a supervisor. Got a very pleasant woman, explained what happened. She seemed (feigned?) surprise that the date had been changed twice. She told me she would look into it and call me back.

Called me back a few hours later, and said that while she was going to try to move up my date (I assumed back to 10/07, certainly did not expect tomorrow), she discovered that my CC had just been charged (coincidence?), so she didn't have to do anything. That was around 3:00 EST. She said I would get tracking, probably tomorrow, perhaps delivery Monday. Just checked my VZW and it is schedule overnight on Fedex, delivered by 8 PM tomorrow.

Honestly, after this week, I don't know what to believe anymore...
 
Anyone else receiving their iphone via USPS? My iphone 5 preorder came fedex but this one is like straight usps, not even smart post. Verizon says to not worry it'll still be here tomorrow but my husband works for the post office and knows how the priority shipments work. I hope someone else has some experience with preordering and it being shipped USPS.


i work at my own post office and we have been adjusting to something new where we have all of our normal usps parcels and then we have been getting pallets of Amazon shipments on our USPS trucks that have been taking priority over the UPS and FedEx parcels that comes later in the morning from actual UPS and FedEx drivers. i would assume that these would come just like the other priority deliveries on the trucks in the morning and come priority with signature confirmation. i just hope that UPS and FedEx are taking them all out in my ZIP... because iphones...
 
Thanks seanbush. I am hoping that this will be the case tomorrow. I guess I'll find out when my husband goes to work.
 
Man screw all y'all lol :rolleyes: Am I the only one with the ECPD errors and the fraud BS I had to go through and still didn't get squat done or changed?

I've only ever preordered, I've never picked one up in a store. Sorry I can't be more help. :)

Same here, but this year didn't preorder until closer until 4:30AM (I just happened to wake up) so I ended up with a much later ship date. I might wander in during my lunch break and see whats up. Enjoy yours!

So, I decided to try to call one last time...

Once again I was very polite and stated my case,
the rep once again stated there was no way to change the order once it's been placed.

I stated that there was several people who have provided proof that it has happened...the guy said I don't know how, it's not possible..

He then stated a supervisor already looked into it and said it wasn't possible,
so I can override her. I said, then get me over to someone who can,
the guy actually stated "no one can...once a sup has said something, it can't be changed..."

So, you can't get me to a supervisor,..no....

I find it funny that the rep that told he that he bumped me up in line,
didn't notate it down however they do note stuff that can screw me over...

Thanks Verizon.. I am thinking being a customer since 2008 and never missing a payment doesn't mean a d### thing to you!
 
Lucky! Mine via FedEx still shows that it is sitting in Newark. Guess I have to hang out with you tomorrow so I can see one up close!

I honestly didn't expect the 6+ to outsell the 6.

same here... im just thinking the supply of the iphone 6+ were so limited. however most of the people around me that were looking into the new iphones were mostly leaning towards the 6+. im so happy i went with the 6+ to be honest. im on my phone so much it'll be nice to have a bigger screen... and i know people are gonna say "well android blah blah blah"... yeah well i had an android based phone before and it was laggy as hell. aint got time for that

Just to update you... I got my tracking finally updated via UPS.

Timeline for me was (Pacific Time):

3:11 AM - Tracking number provided (but that is all, no location)
6:32 PM - Origin Scan Louisville. (delivery date says 9/19 3PM)

Final destination: Phoenix, AZ.

So, there is still hope for you...
 
Seeing that some people got bumped up from 10/7 to today im fuming that my dad cancelled my pre-order before I told him to. Have to chance it on launch day. Still cant decide whether I should go to verizon or apple :(

Apple gets shipments throughout the day. If you go at lunch and after work there won't be much of a line and you may get lucky. I went after work on launch days of ipad 3, iPad Air and iphone 5 and waited in short lines and walked out with my device within 30 minutes.
 
I have come to the conclusion that Verizon does not care that they upset customers with this pre-order; this is evident with the way some CSR are talking to some customers. Just go look at their Facebook and Twitter it is very evident by their comments
 
So, all week, as I've let be known here, I was told guarenteed by tomorrow. My order number was 289***, D771001, 128 gb silver 6+. Confirmation gave me the delivery date of 9/12. Order was paid for on Wednesday.

Called to check in this morning, no tracking yet. Called again around 5pm, was told it wasn't scheduled to ship today because I placed my order at 5:11am est. I explained my order went in between 3:45 and 3:55am est; and that I received my confirmation email at 5:11am est. The agent also saw in the notes that I was told delivery on the 19th, guarenteed. I was calm about this.

The agent after a pause to check with a supervisor let me know he would fill out one of those "jump the line" requests. He said he couldn't promise it would ship tonight as a result, but if they get it in time, it should.

Again, I didn't yell or scream. That's another human being on the line who's truly trying to help. He doesn't deserve that, even if there was nothing he could do. I thanked him for his help, and advised I would call to check in when I got home. He sounded very pleased and relieved. Plus, I figured, at worst, I'll get it Monday.

Pleased to say I received my tracking info email about an hour ago. Guarenteed for tomorrow by 8pm.

This is why I stay with Big Red. In the times I've had to call in over time, things didn't always go the way I wanted; but I knew I always received an honest effort from the people trying to help me to the best of their abilities. I've read the stories on this thread, and I feel bad for those that things didn't go their way concerning this preorder. But I will always believe that companies can be evil, but it's the people that make a difference. And yes, I would say this even if I didn't get any tracking info tonight.
