Flight time from Newark-Rochester is about that too. Anyone who takes 7+ hours to drive from Newark to Rochester must be going 2mph. I tried to track flights and I did not see any Fedex flights from Newark to Rochester or surrounding airports :confused: However there was a Memphis-Rochester flight... lol

oh they did? my phone probably in the same truck as yours? what time did they leave? I actually checked, FDX583 left Memphis for Chicago Ohare right about the time when the scan "left Memphis" happened, so thought they would be on a plane.. oh well.. still anxious.. lol

Left Memphis at 427, I couldn't flint a flight that matched I was like whats going in? But now its in Berkeley!
 
Preordered two 64GB 6's 15 minutes after they went live on 9/12. Received an order confirmation early 9/12. Credit card was charged 9/13 and I received tracking numbers.

It's been sitting in Memphis since then and hasn't moved. Still says delivery by tomorrow.

Freaking out

ah so it was scanned at STL? i guess not the same as mine coz mine didn't get scanned since 3.01pm.. argh where art thou my iPhone???

I have no idea how people know what UPS or FedEx flights their shipments are on, kind of scary in a way...
 
Uhhh so update... My phone is going to rochester NEW YORK. Phone went from Westchester PA, to Newark NJ to Memphis? LOL this is some terrible logistics. It is definitely catching the Memphis-Rochester flight now.

Not necessarily. You would be surprised how sometimes the route that makes the least sense is actually the most beneficial to the shipper.
 
This is so gay. I had went into my local Verizon store on the 11th and asked about the preorder process in regarding to swapping my phone. I told them I had planned on preordering the phone at midnight and they encouraged me to preorder with them with a $200 deposit for an IP6+/128GB. I figured they had some kind of special way of preordering that would give them higher priority then the others who would be preordering online so I gave them the $$$. I go in this past Monday to find out how it went only to be told all they did was keep the staff up until past midnight inputting preorders into the system. SERIOUSLY!?!?!? They gave me a Verizon order number and after looking at it my phone won't be shipped until the 14th of Oct. My guess is they were up a couple of hours entering preorders and mine was somewhere at the bottom of the pile.

I could have done the preorder myself at 11:55PM and had my phone tomorrow ughhhhh
 
Welp it's officially iDay in Texas. Hope you guys enjoy your phones. And if you work at Apple, Best Buy, or a carrier store during this weekend...good luck #

Anyone else sleeping with their iPhone 5s in their arms tonight? In a matter of hours the object we touch more than any other will be discarded for a new, faster, brighter, sleeker model. Reminds me of what I did to my first wife.
 
Is it bad I want to go to sleep early just so I can wake up about 8 hours closer to my delivery time?

I was going to buy I have to be up in 5 for work and that doesn't seem like that much closer haha. I keep telling myself this time tomorrow I will be playing with my new phone
