So because my card was declined at first, i had to tell the CC company it was ok, and now i ahve to contact verizon and say reprocess. However now verizon cant figure out how to reprocess my charge/cant even pull up my order correctly. The. Hell.
I ordered my iphone 6 the day after pre-order, and my expected shipping date is 10/3, which is fine, but my card still has not been charged yet and its not pending. I know that means it has not shipped yet, but it would make me feel better if I at least had some sort of confirmation verizon has my order. Anyone else at least have a pending charge on their accounts that at least confirmed they bought it? Thanks

you have another card to put it on , or charge it to you verizon account. you've waiting a while on this to get dumped hereUpdate: Call Chase and give the credit card guys the amount of you purchase to verizon. No its not. That message you're talking about was "We received your order and it is in process." I know because that's the message I still see haha.
Hopefully everyone gets theirs soon. I just ordred yesterday and it says ship date by the 17th. The sooner you 'll get your the sooner I get mine. Let them packages fly.
I decided on the 6 myself instead of the 6 plus. I'm coming from a G3 and I don't want a phone bigger than that in overall size. The 6 is just abou the same size which works for me.

jabba jabba, may I ask what time you submitted your order and what your location code is? I submitted my order for the same phone between 3:15 and 3:20am (EST) on 9/12, location code D772001, so I'm hoping that I'm not far behind you!
no movement on mine either. starting to think that the launch in _26_ other countries this Friday might have the production lines shifting to meet most of the demand there. Oh well, at least I'll get it before Halloween

I did visit my Apple store to finally get a chance to play with both models. I put it off since I knew that would just make me want it more, but I was already at the mall anyway for something else. Obviously there's no 6+ to be had, had a few 6s though. My immediate takeaway for those that haven't seen them, the 6+ display is certainly sharper, the text under the icons makes this rather clear, glancing back at the 6 almost seems fuzzy. There's no doubt the 6+ is huge. Having used a Note 3 as my work device for some time it still felt large. Wouldn't downsize my order as there's more to a device than portability, but ignoring everything else the 6 really is a perfect size and still tempting, Apple nailed it.
Finally the guy walking the floor was adamant the next big wave of both devices to Apple retail, and carriers, was due to their stock at the end of this week. Meaning, we could start seeing movement come Thursday/Friday on our orders. Didn't sound like he was pulling it out of thin air based on his other comments, but he obviously could be wrong too. The wait continues...

if you have an apple store near you check DAILY. I just bought a iPhone 6+ 64gb from my local Apple Store and picking it up in a few hours. Canceled my pre order so that should bump someone up. My order # was 91765 was stuck on the 101/10 date forever.

10/10 ship yesterday now shipped today w/ tracking number

They put a $1 charge on my account to confirm the card. I think they will put the full charge once it ships. Do you have a small deposit charge?
I have the 10/10 ship date, but upon inspection this morning I'm noticing that my card hasn't been charged yet. Does this mean there is an issue with the payment process or does Verizon wait until the item ships to charge the payment?

This is overly frustrating, I can't even find any local stores that have iPhone 6+'s. I'm really hoping they can get this on the move, my old iPhone 5 just isn't cutting it on iOS8 with all of the lagging its now facing.

Verizon does not charge the card until the item ships. True for most retailers.
