What does this mean for folks with mid-october dates?
Okay, so if 10/3 folks are having theirs charged 9/23 does this mean all other orders get about a 10 day bump too? Or did I read wrong lol. I "pre-ordered" on 9/15(anybody else? what "deliver by" date did you get?) so originally I think it was 10/28 what date should it be now? To avoid some questions, there is 10 of us on an account and i am not the account admin so I was not given a ref or order number... frustrating

My card just got charged. Waiting for a tracking number. My order consisted of a 6+ SG 64GB and a 6 SG 64GB. I ordered at 3:45 EST on 9/12. w00t!!!
Most of the people still in this thread are waiting for a 6 Plus that they ordered on 9/12. I wouldn't necessarily say that a 10 day bump for 10/3 people means a 10 day bump for the rest of us. While it is a good sign, we don't know the circumstances that lead to that bump. A shipment could have arrived sooner than expected, but that doesn't mean that future shipments will as well. Also, talk to your account admin and get that preorder number!

Credit card charge just showed up, and we now have a blank "tracking number" field on the order status screen!
While I am very happy for both of you, I am frustrated. I have the same phone, same location, but my order number is in the 140xxx range and I have nothing. No CC charge, no tracking, etc. Grrr.
Called VZW and they have no other information for me other than 10/3/14. Not sure why I bothered preordering if they are not going to ship them out in order in which preorders were received.

I chose "Bill to account" now I'm worried because I don't think I have a credit card set up for my account, only my bank account.

I wouldn't worry. If they had it as an option then it shouldn't be an issue. Call or Chat Verizon for your piece of mind.

I got some last night for D771101 - CC Charge and Status Update - but no tracking number yet.
So are they not going to bill your account. When I did bill to account they never asked for a card. Anyone else bill to account and had their card charged.
She made it seem like for the credit check I had to put in a credit card, which I dont remember because it was too early in the morning but I did add some stuff to my cart yesterday to check it out and you do have to put in a credit card number for the credit check. So im under the impression the card will be charged. Even tho my confirmation email said payment type: Bill to Account

Just called and talked to verizon and they told me that My account is showing bill to account I had 450 available and now I have $23 since my phone was $427 and not to worry it will be shipped and billed to my account

I have movement on my end this morning.
I just refreshed my page and my ship date had changed from 10/3 to 9/19, due to a change that was made on my account courtsey of the director of operations in my area.
My Order History page now works and shows my new order but hasnt populated the phone information yet.
This should mean that I will get my phone within the next few days.

I think everyone is going to get some kind of jump. And it is likely it will be a 10 day jump. I really do stand by my theory that Verizon gave us the furthest dates out because I really do believe that Apple does not tell the carriers when they will get new shipments.
If you ordered as a group (10 phones upgrades), track whoever has the furthest date out. Verizon ships it together.

I can affirm that this is true.
The person in upper management that I spoke with told me that Apple is so secretive about shipments that VZW does not know when they get their next shipments.
They only have estimates and even then they don't know how many they will get.
