I got my tracking number emailed but Fedex hasn't gotten the shipment yeti. Anybody have an idea of how long it takes from this point? How are they shipping them, overnight, two day. Any help would be great to help with my impatience. The real problem I'm having is this is my wife's and mine doesn't show anything yet.

I'm in the same boat for my Mom's phone and while I don't have anything definitive for you I can offer what happened when mine shipped last week.

Mine shipped on 9/19 - the Fedex tracking says it was first entered into the system at 2:04P and actually arrived at 7:24P. From the looks of things Verizon must have a distribution site located in Memphis to link in to Fedex. Assuming this is the site and the pattern holds we'll probably see Fedex get the number in the mid-afternoon and actually get the package this evening. When they get the package we'll probably see the actual estimated delivery date.
 
After sifting through the VZW thread I am not sure if the location of the device has any real significant correlation to when a device is shipped. For example my device location starts with a D, and I know people with D locations that have already received their shipping notice while I'm still at 10/24.

After looking at my order #, and then looking at my family members order #'s (who happened to preorder two days after me), their preorders are in order by which phone was upgraded first (it was a group order) even though they all got different colors, gb's and etc. I think the way it's working is that they are shipping in order by ACE Order #, however, they're shipping by device's availability. So if my order is in the 2 mils, in theory, someone in the 4 mils who perhaps orders a 16 GB phone over an in demand 64 GB will get their device first even if they're 2 million preorders are after the 64 GB was placed. Thus, its probably better for people to pair up with individuals who ordered the same thing as them. For example if your ACE order # is in the early 1 millions (ex. 120xxxx) and u ordered a 64 GB Gold +, then I know if mine is 1.5 mil in (ex 150xxxx), I know that mine will be shipped shortly after yours. Does that make sense? Atleast that's my theory...

Ok let's try that Theory, I am Space Grey 16 GB Plus, Ace order 111xxx,
in the Bay Area California, with an updated ship date of 10/10. Anyone else?
 
Verizon Status Page

I just got off the phone with Verizon online store support people and according to them, if your order is "in process" then "Expected Ship Date" (which should be Expected Delivery Date) is a pretty arbitrary date. It's not tied to virtually anything in reality and is based in general of availability of the model that you order but not on your order specifically. For example my email confirmation said 10/07, Verizon status page kept saying 09/19 until last Friday when it changed to 10/07 which then proceeded to change to 10/07. In the Verizon system my expected delivery date is still 10/07. So don't get too excited by this date jumping.
 
Me!! I billed one to my account and I just received an e-mail with my Fed Ex tracking number. It will be here Friday!! :D

What was the process? Did they bill your card at all? What was your original ship date and did it change.

Business order status "PRE"?

Hi. My order placed through my employer still has an order status of "PRE". No estimated ship date or location or anything like that. Order was placed on 9/12 and I have an order number of MBxxxxxxxxx. Has anyone else encountered this and had the status changed. The original confirmation email had a delivery date of 10/21

I had that until today when a tracking number showed up. My original date was 10/7 though.

Ace order # 210xxxx
Ace order location: 1456901 (I'm in NC)
Expected ship date: 10/10 (was 10/14 in confirm mail)

order placed @ 3:21am EDT on 12th

$1 charged on CC, and gone for now.

Expected Ship Date: web site order said 9/19 then email conf. said 10/7 then on Monday Iconic site changed to 10/3. Now Iconic showing "Your order has been sent for processing." The standard order status site now shows the ACE# with an empty tracking # field (showed 10/3 previously as well).

Yesterday noticed that "My Verizon Order Status" now shows the iPhone/sim order and order date as 9/23.

Also, noticed yesterday that my "Documents&Receipts" now show the order invoice linked to the line's phone #.

As of yesterday my CC also is showing a pending charge for the full amount instead of $1.

Not sure exactly when these changed yesterday but no other updates since then.

this progression makes me think that those of us with 10/24-10/17 order may get ours next week

Exact same thing "PRE" and no movement for me either. Order placed through employer 9/12 9:30am est, 6 Plus, Space Gray, 64GB. Delivery date 10/21.

Yes, it takes me right to Fedex showing that the package is already at the 2nd stage (picked up/enroute). Which is odd since from reading the other posts I had expected it to follow the "check back later, then tracking # but not live, then live link tracking #". It may have gone through all of those steps and I just didn't check it frequently enough this afternoon (catch 22 hitting refresh to get an update that never comes, gets old fast!!).

Our Business order just shipped (2) same, delivery date of 10/7. Still no update on the Plus @128GB with same delivery date.
 
One other strange thing I'd like to share for those monitoring their CC. My CC still shows pending for the entire amount while I already have FedEx confirmation that the package is in their hands from a couple hours ago.

So, in my case my CC was not a good VZW shipping soon flag.

I had them bill it to my account but I do not see the charge on my account yet. They had already issued my September bill when I ordered, so I expect it will show up on my October bill that will go out the 3rd.

My original expected delivery date was 10/07. Then it changed to expected "shipping" date of 10/03. So basically the same except they changed it from "delivery" to "shipping".

I also still have a 6 16GB gray slate coming that was ordered separately but on the same day. That one I had billed to my credit card because it would have put me over the $450 limit owed on my account. It also changed from a 10/07 delivery date to 10/03 shipping date. No other updates on that one.
