I'm really waiting to see what Lifeproof comes out with though. Granted it hides the natural beauty of the phone, but the protection it worth it to me.
The expected ship date is 11/7, but seeing others move up I'm hopeful I'll have the same luck.

Congrats!! I'm a little bummed though. I ordered a 6 16GB SG and a 6 16GB Silver on 9/19 and haven't seen any changes on iconic or my cc. Could they be holding my SG waiting for the silver? Or will they ship as they are ready even if they are on the same order?
I can't complain too much though.... So many people from 9/12 to 9/19 are getting screwed over.

Was that email from the carrier or Verizon? Did you get tracking information on the Verizon site too?
Email was from Verizon on the shipping. Hs the tracking number and FedEx shows they already have it and it is enroute.Congratulations!
I already got mine preordered full price from Apple on release day. Moved to Verizon last week and ordered for my mom and sister. My sister just changed her mind yesterday to get the 64GB so I ordered another one. But since the two 16GB's were on one order, Verizon rep suggested not to cancel it but just return it to store. And this morning, VOILA! Got the email and phones are being shipped.
Purchased through next with a 5S 32GB and 5 16GB trade-ins for both phones, 0 down.
Hmm... Maybe but heres the thing,all of the other flights do a complete circle. It's like with this flight they completely leave out the detail. That plane has to get back to Memphis to go to AK. I think the route goes Memphis to AK and then AK to Memphis but its just not noted on flightaware. This wouldnt be the first time but it seems like it is, because look...all of a sudden people are getting shipping info again.

EDIT: Has anyone gotten one of those rumored flippable USB to THunderbolt cables where you can put the USB end into the port upside down or right side up? Just curious!
Likely though the average consumer goes for the 16GB and maybe the 64GB now that 16 is so small and outdated. I'm guessing the pattern for iPhones has always been people able/want to just buy the basic entry model while the high capacity ones are for people who can afford it and are tech savvy...I've heard rumors they have like crates of 128GB SG iPhone 6's and that wouldn't surprise me....

The beauty of the iPhone is always impressive but the features are equally as great and like I've said before I like to bring my phone to some crazy events.....having a $900 phone is worth protecting. I don't think LifeProof cases for the 6 will be out for a while though....I'm thinking we'll be waiting tell after the new iPad launch and into spring or even summer....

If people are still waiting for launch day orders to be sent, I think I'll possibly cancel my sg 6+ 128gb for a regular 6 128gb and use it for a year until the 6s+ (?) comes out and edge up.

Yes....me...lol ordered on the 15th at 8am. I know I don't have to pay for my new phone line, that isn't here yet. haha this month.
Still waiting for the same iPhone. Ordered on 9/19. Estimated 10/31 ship date with no movement since the day I ordered it. Also a new verizon customer doing the edge program.
I'm also planning on switching, just haven't decided if I'm going to do it this week or wait until next week.
I did order a 6, lol. ip6 sg 64gb ordered the afternoon of 9/22. I have nothing but the same info I've had from day 1. Shipping supposedly 10/17. We shall see. I've had an empty case for 2 and a half weeks! Poor bastard ha ha
i spoke to a rep at verizon today and they said there might be a delay on the iphone 6 and 6 plus. i really hope thats not the case. i've heard that people were getting their phones 2 weeks earlier than expected.
Well I suppose it doesn't matter if your already paying before you get it, ya know get the payments out of the way the quicker the better! And yeah if I wanted the 6+ I might do that, I'd probably just get a 128GB iPhone 6 and then a 64GB iPhone 6+ if I didn't need the space that way I could sell the phone and guarantee a profit to cover the cost of the 6+ at full retail but Edge works too, I'm just a more up front with cash kinda guy though.
I'd jump on it right away! I debated it for 3 days before I finally switched my order of the 64GB Space Grey iPhone 6 (10/31 ship date) to the 128GB Space Grey iPhone 6 which has a ship date much faster, Verizon listed it as 24hours but haven't got past pending yet (ordered on 10/7 so not panicking yet) but most people got the 128GB SG iPhone 6 shipped with in 1-3 days....I'm expecting it to ship either tomorrow (10/9), 10/10 or on Monday if I get unlucky again! Either way much faster than having to wait tell 10/31 even if it gets changed to 10/24 or 10/17 I just don't have the patience anymore!
I feel the pain man! I've got my case and screen protectors sitting on my bed as I type this! I really really just want my iPhone 6 already
I hope its not the case either! I don't remember the 5s being this bad but it seams every year it gets worse...maybe Apple and Verizon can learn from this whole deal. I wish Apple could just make so many iPhone's that they wouldn't even have to worry about making them for like a year because they had so many! This feels like Hunger Marketing even though its just a massive supply and demand issue...
I'm sitting here right now about to pull the trigger on the same exact thing. Between the alleged weak point near the volume buttons, 1GB of RAM allegedly causing more issues in the Plus than the regular 6, the amount of apps I use that are not optimized and look much worse on the Plus than the 6, and most importantly the delays in getting a Plus, I'm ready to hop on the 128GB 6 and wait until the 6S Plus. I have a 6 right now and I love the size. I am happy with it so I may just go that route.

If you're a 9/12 6 Plus SG 128GB and still have had no movement then I'm REALLY not hopeful about my 9/18 6 Plus SG 128GB.
That's what I did yesterday. I was a 09/23 128gb plus order and seeing the amount of people who ordered way ahead of me still waiting I caved and ordered a 6 SG 128 and it shipped same day.
