Well, was gonna bite the bullet and get the iPhone 6 SG 128 to get it Friday, but I would lose my $299 for my iPhone 5s, so I just wait it out I guess.
That's what I just ordered. Got next day air. Should have it tomorrow. Hopefully

Why would you lose the $300 trade-in gift card for your 5S? That promotion is good until the 15th I think. And you should be able to sell it on craigslist for at least $400 anyway...

I would check to see if they canceled you order or not. It's ridiculous that you have to wait this long for a phone. Some people who ordered between 9/12-9/19 has their phone by now (hopefully, I haven't been tracking this site as much as I usually do... midterms are coming up). Even I rec'd my phone and I ordered it on 9/18.

Whats funny is, I have called, and chatted with them online and all is good with my order. Sucks waiting until the 24th.

So when you get your status update I should hopefully get one soon after. I was 8:30am PT.

Hopefully that will be very soon. I ordered immediately after finding out none of my local stores (except Verizon, which already had a line around the building) had the 6+ in.

Still seeing posts about 6's of all colors and sizes ordered on apple.com being shipped the next day(although a longer shipping time from China). I just don't understand how Verizon's shipments for some 6's(*cough* SG and 64GB) can be so far behind. Hell, why can't Verizon order them by person and have them in the hands of customers within a week? I just don't get it.

Doesn't make sense to me either. I just ordered a 6 SG 128gb today and it shipped already. The 64gb still says 11/7. Guess they got in a shipment of 128s inn 9

How do you know it shipped today? I ordered a silver one and I still havent gotten a tracking number. My card has a pending charge on it though...

I kinda wish I got the SG now.

I called twice and ask. No tracking yet though. On the website it says available now as well. The silver is backordered according to the site.

Actually the fact that they have *any* phones 'in stock' raises more questions. There has to be something specifically odd about how Verizon receives phones based on orders. I really doubt at this point they get phones in daily, but base some sort of batch ordering(from apple) based on orders in a specific time frame, instead of a JIT(just in time) system.

Dang I did not know that. I will call them shortly and see if it has shipped. If it hasnt, I may cancel my order because the apple store close to me has them in stock.

The verizon rep told me today that to get my early upgrade I would have to order from them though, if I cancel the order do you think that would still be the case?

That's what I thought also. I saw others here were able to order the 128SG today and yesterday and they shipped already that's what got more to order that also.

I got my upgrade pushed up a year and a half believe it or not. When you check your Verizon account does it now say your eligible for a upgrade. If it does you should be good. I canceled my order and reordered without issue if that helps.

Hell yeah. If they havent shipped my order yet I am going to make the drive and buy the iphone. I can't stand waiting

I was already going to get the 128 but I ordered the plus. Since those apparently are not shipping ever I cancelled and ordered the 6. But it could be a conspiracy to get people to spend more yes lol.

How can you tell which devices are in stock and which ones are backordered?
I'm just going by the availability dates on the site. The white and gold show back ordered. The 128 SG shows available. Just look online art Verizon.

Based on my findings, Verizon doesn't get shipments everyday for the new iphones. Just 2 or 3 days out of the week and in consecutive days. Once the wave is over, the wave is over. You have to wait till the next one to see if you're going to get your phone. My theory is that only one plane is shipped directly to Verizon.

If Verizon was getting planes every day like Apple, they would have SOME in stock instore.

agreed, what flight do you think has the shippments? That shanghai to mem or something else. I also agree, they only get a few shipments a week.

I believe this is the flight that carries phones directly to Verizon.

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/FDX9020

The other flights may have iphones, but I believe those are for stores & etc.

Remember that pattern I was talking to you about and the waves of shipments? This flight only happen Weds-Fri and these are usually when we start seeing the waves. Today is Weds, and a flight is coming in. This would also correlate with the big Oct 14th wave. The phones shipping out today, tomorrow, fri would be delivered on the 13th and 14th.

Although We can only see 1 direction, Memph to AK the returning flight is not listed. But that could be another flightaware archiving goof.

This is just my theory, ofcourse but I am willing to bet people will start getting S Iconic Status and Shipping Info Tomorrow and Fri.

My account rep with Verizon said the the trade in deal ended 9/30. I am not a big Craig's List user. I suppose I could have went Ebay.
