VZW Order Status Thread

Still waiting.... but I was wondering...

Howdy Folks,

I have been following this thread since the day I ordered my iPhone 6+, and finally felt compelled to register and post. I have been unable to use the coveted "iconic" page, and instead have been relying on the standard order status page which my order confirmation page points too. I have seen zero change since I placed my order on 22 Sep, with the only exception of my order history showing the order, and after 2 weeks showing the phone, and now telling my my return period has expired.

However, I have been checking this forum, and both the Verizon Order page and the Apple Store page for indicators that supply was improving, in hopes that I would get my device before the estimated ship date of 24 Oct. Something that I find strange, is that for two weeks after I placed my order, the Verizon page continued to show "Ship by 24 Oct", and then after three weeks it slipped to "Ship by 31 Oct." I find this mind boggling that someone who orders today, only has to wait 2 weeks, while I have to wait (assuming ship by time goes as scheduled) 5 weeks. Not to mention those of you that placed orders before the 22nd, with this SAME deliver by date as mine. So, I had an idea...

Do you think it might be possible, that some versions of the iPhone 6+ might not be available until the 24th due to them not being released until that day? If that were the case, it would explain the strange date trends.

I haven't seen any movement yet. I was hoping we would see something on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. We still have the rest of today and tomorrow. So here's hoping we do!

I've been watching iStockNow, and an iPhone 6+ SG 128GB showed up at my local Apple store. I called to make sure that it was in stock. It was, so I took off for the Apple store, and it sold before I could get there. I am so effing sick of this!! I know there are worse problems in the world, like hunger and Ebola, and I'll be sure to start solving them once I get my freakin' phone.

What case did you get?

The Incipio Feather. I really like the feel of it and the fact that the spots for the buttons are just carved out. I didn't want anything too bulky or a screen protector so this one seems great. It'll add some grip and hopefully structural support.

I've read really good reviews about the Feather. I like the leather cases, but I don't think they would provide the 6 Plus with enough structural support.

I'm seeing more information in my iconic (I think). It shows the region ID twice and the order region once. I don't know if that means anything. Iconic status is still C. I ordered the iPhone 6 64GB SG.

Even worse, as many as 50 Apple stores had the 128 gb space gray plus in stock today. It started on the west coast and made it east coast by this afternoon. There are a handful of those with stock of that model now. So several people walked in off the street and picked one up while we are all waiting on ours.

10/31 I ordered it on 10/02. I am expecting to either see some movement this weekend or definitely sometime next week. Several of the 64 SG 6's ordered 5-7 days before mine have shipped or are shipping out. We'll see what happens though.

I just looked, and I have the same thing. 2 regionID fields. It's probably nothing, but it's exciting all the same to see something different

Frustrating

Well…..first ever post here….been reading these posts for awhile. I ordered my 6+ SG 16gb on the 21st with an expected ship date of the 24th. I finally found a 128 gb SG today at an apple store 2 hours away. I called and the lady was just about to hold my phone for me until she told me that unfortunately she couldn't due to me not being eligible for an actual upgrade. I am currently using a non-data flip phone so I am only transferring due to the Edge program. Very disappointed and by the time I figured I would just go buy the phone outright 20 minutes later they were gone.

Logged on to BestBuy just a few minutes ago with the same situation. Stores showing they had some in stock….called the first store and the lady said she literally just sold the last one…..just has not be in the cards for me. Guess I am waiting like everyone else here. I did log onto the iconic site but I don't seem to find anything exciting other than a "B" order status and an "E" cluster…sure was hoping to get mine a week early and to be honest I have doubts about receiving it by next Friday.

I received a shipping notification from version today at 1pm for my 128 gb space grey 6+. When I check the tracking number with fedex it just says No record of this tracking number can be found.
I was wondering if anyone else had any issues with fedex results of verizon reported tracking numbers? Thanks

11/7/14. 4-5 weeks waiting period from ordering to shipping? Does not reflect well on what was once a given... Apple's control over their logistics and manufacturing processes. Add the quality control issues with hardware and software, and the overall picture is not pretty. They are obviously ridding a wave of success right now, but that will not last at this pace.
