How long does it take from Iconic Status becoming S and getting a tracking number until the tracking number will work?
I'm in the same boat. I ordered the same phone on 10/01 no movement

I have a feeling that a batch of this particular type, (iPhone 6 Plus, 64G SG), that were ordered mid to end of September are all going to arrive about the same time. This is the reason that they are all showing with an approximate shipping date of 10/31/14 to 11/07/14. Hoping that it will actually be sooner. It needs to be.
Getting a tracking number from Verizon will take a while. But if you sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager your tracking number show up in your shipments as soon the label is created. But you will not be notified by text or email (you have to subscribe for the notifications) until shipment is marked as picked up by FedEx then you will be notified by FedEx then. It took another 3 hours before I got a shipping confirmation from Verizon including my tracking number. So I will say it only takes about 8 hours (early morning like 3 AM to 5 AM) before the tracking number is shows up in FedEx system after the iconic status changes to 'S'. Another 4 hours before Verizon sends a shipping confirmation.
Same here and still says Ship date 10/24. Now a I did get an email from Verizoon saying, "We are still in business and your ship date of 10/24 has not changed."

My iPhone was delivered at 3pm yesterday! Amazing that it got here so fast after ordering on the 28th. I was going to post something but I was too busy messing around on the thing. It's a beauty...
On the spreadsheet it looks like there is only 1 Silver 6+ 128gb left to go in front of me, that does make me a bit optimistic that i might see some action late this week. There are only 4 of us on the sheet, so probably not a great view of the over status's for that model though

MY 64+ silver is delivered..... I hate to be a jerk, but this thing is AMAZING! its all set up been using it for maybe 10 min. went to go turn off my 5 and it felt like a toy after playing with the 6!

It's said delivery on 11/4. This hasn't changed since the order was placed.
I hope that's the case. If Verizon can't get all the 10/24s out, it'll almost surely tell us that the shipping dates are arbitrary and the're going to push the schedule back

Finally received my trade-in shipping materials.... now I just have to get my new iPhone 6+ so I can mail in my old phone. If ship days stay the same, I still have another 16-17 days of waiting. (iPhone 6+ Silver 64GB Ordered 10/07 with ship date of 11/7).
