I called Verizon after seeing "payment not taken" note on order status....CSR was really nice and seemed to be "in the know". She put me on hold while she talked to the credit department (since those are the people who i talked to yesterday). After a ten minute hold, she tells me that the order wasn't processing because the credit dept. forgot to check mark a box for final approval.



Anyway, she said the guy in the credit department did what needed done and pushed my order to the front of the line to maintain the 10/24 ship date as well as adding next day shipping.



She said the order status page should change in the next couple of hours.



On a side note - I noticed Verizon changed their data plans, and when looking at this, noticed that they forgot to give me my free 1gb per iPhone pre-order promotion!

I've been super busy the last 2 days and finally have time to give an update. My 6 Plus Silver ordered on 9/29 with ship by 10/31 was cancelled yesterday and boy was I mad. Turns out it was cancelled for my payment being 7 days late. So talked to customer care today and it it all squared away and had to reorder, new ship by day of 11/7 so I'm going to be dying with an extra week lol. It didn't say anything about my extra 1GB of data so I'm gonna give them a call when I receive it and see if they will still honor it or not. Other than that excited for all those getting their phones already.
 
I placed an order for an Iphone 6 64gb on 10/2 exp ship date 10/31 no movement I have also seen others with this same configuration already ship thoroughly dissapointed anyways anyone else in the same boat as me? it seems alot of ppl on this forum have ordered 6+'s
 
Initial order on 9/17 was around 10 am eastern time. They ordered a 6 instead of a 6+ and when I called on 9/19 to correct it they said they would keep my place ( which I was skeptical about but seems that is the case)

I just noticed on the Verizon webpage that the iPhone 6 Gold in 64gb is now backordered until Nov. 21st! These backorder dates are crazy. I really hope I don't have to wait too much longer.
 
like i ********** said before i got skipped oberon my order. screw verizon I'm canceling my order tomorrow and staying with t-mobile this company is a joke I'm paid hundreds of dollars to wait 2 ********** months for a phone while others wait 2 weeks this is outrageous and assbakward. i understand the extreme demand for these iPhones 10 million+ phones preordered i get it they are behind but why take preorders for something you can't fulfill. and to think i wanted to comeback to a company that doesn't give a rats ass about the customer and their satisfaction.

its not neccisarily verizions fault yes verizion is partially responsible and like every huge company shipping out these iphones is difficult but apple is the one who is mostly at fault they shouldve known the phones would be bought alot and produced more so honestly just relax buddy we all really want an iphone
 
I just called Verizon's 611 # and it immediately gave me a recording that they apologize but that my phone is delayed and I will get an email when it ships with further information.

Did anyone else get this same recording? Is everyone getting it?

I'm sorry but i just can't stand this crap anymore. i probably won't cancel until after 10/31 my original ship date but i talked to a csr this morning and he said there is a high possibility that my order might be pushed back to 11/14 due to me being a new customer. i don't understand that. and again I'm sorry for being an ass and rude.

Its exceedingly unreasonable that they would do this...if anything they would prioritize orders for new customers! Guys like me they already have on the hook for like a 9,000 year contract so its not like we can go anywhere fast....I really hate people sometimes, well a corporation in this case but its made up of a group of people that are evil...

nah its fine everyones pretty pissed off it sucks that theyre treating a new customer like that sorry

its funny because when i left verizon i told them i just can't afford a $125 bill every month and that was when i went down from an unlimited plan that was like 80 bucks month and that was with my discount. i asked them what i could do to lower my bill and the guy looked at me an laughed and said that that was the cheapest my phone would get. so i left. now i want to come back because they finally offer something i can afford and they treat me like garbage. apple and all wireless companies should be absolutely ashamed for what they did to their customers.
 
So I called Verizon cs because my device has not shipped on the expected shipdate of 10/24, the csr was very helpful in getting more information on the matter. He placed me on hold to figure out the issue. When he came back he explained that Verizon made a mistake and secured too many people into the ship date of 10/24, he advised that 90,000 phones did not get shipped today that were supposed to get shipped. Then he said that on 11/7 3000 phones will be sent that were missed on 10/24 and that the remaining 87,000 will be shipped on 11/14. So, while I'm not happy about this, I'm not mad either. I'll call in some other time to figure out what they can do for me since I wouldn't have ordered the specific model that I ordered if it weren't for the 10/24 ship date. 6 64gb gold. Ordered on 10/14

Chill dude. It's a phone, that's it. It is not the end of the world. I want my phone as much as the next person, but the fact is that mistakes happen. If you don't like it, you are free to choose whatever service provider and phone brand you want. But, you want the same phone that millions of other people also want and you want it on the service provider that has a plan that makes the most sense. Crap happen and you just stay calm because there are so many other things in this world that are more important than a phone.
 
Should have asked two weeks ago, but any interest in me creating a simple site where people can register and enter/update only their own order data and anyone can sort/filter it as they please? Having the doc get messed up has been rather annoying, but I can understand people wanting to filter it and sort it, especially now that it's so big. If so, I could have it ready tomorrow evening.
 
Hopefully 11/7 64SG+ iPhones will ship next week or at least on time. I really hope we all see something tonight.. If they ever want to catch up, they're gonna have to process orders more than they have been.. The ship date for many configurations is at 11/21 at this point. The 128SG6 doesn't seem to be backordered fyi.

Just got an email from Verizon saying my ship dates have been changed from October 24th to the following:

Items Quantity New Ship Date
Apple iPhone 6 64GB in Gold 1 11/17/2014
Apple iPhone 6 128GB in Gold 1 10/31/2014

This change/delay makes me wonder if I should change to a 6+. I've been debating between the 6 and the + since they were released. I am so confused!
 
I pray they don't mess with mine. 10/31 is already a struggle, and checking iconic and here evey 5 minutes is wasting my life away. #firstworldproblems

I just want my phone so I can carry on with my life for the next two years.
 
I'm supposed to get 2 128 6+'s on 10/31, SG and Silver. I just hope they come flawless with no dead pixels, dust, yellow bs, or loose buttons.

Went through 4 iPhone 5's at the Verizon store 2 years ago before I got one that I was happy with, that still wasn't flawless.
