Just check my other 6+ SG it shows up in order history with other phone, cc has not been charged yet, when I checked the status it says We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet" expected ship date not available at this time.when I go to iconic ship date is blank with Iconic "B" called verizion they said that it was in process and just havent charged my card yet..I wasnt expected this phone til 11/7 and I didn't get an update or anything with the SG phone.they are on it tonight

UPDATE: one csr didnt know what he was talking about saying that my order was still processing but had and iconic"B" ..I called back as soon as I hung up with him and got someone else she ran my card and it went through, I checked and my cc was charged again today she said that it probably wont get ship til later tonight or tomorrow, so happy the wait is almost over! oh, this was for my 6+SG ordered 9/29 ship date 11/7
 
I just called and they said it got delayed until the 7th for iPhone 6. Had ship date for today

Well I have been told the 31st and the 14th and then told shipping on time (24th). So I don't know what to believe. My iconic status still says 24th and I got an email last Friday saying everything is on track for 24th. Seems like we would receive an email if it's gonna be late.

I spoke with a customer service rep this morning, as I was worried that there was an issue. He seemed quite sincere and put me on hold a couple times to check on things. I also told him about my last CSR experience, and he said he upgraded my shipping to overnight due to the b**** of a woman I had dealt with. He said that I am still on track for 10/24 shipping.... It's now 9pm, no cc charge still, no iconic S still, no status update yet... I give up. Ready to cancel and call it quits till my phone dies.

The CSR that you talked to doesn't know what he/she is talking. I would call Verizon again and make sure you chose checking status on a order as an option and that will transfer you to customer service who does phone orders and ask if they had an issue running your card. If they did give the credit card info again. I received this same message a couple days ago. Soon as I called back and corrected it my card was charged immediately and my iPhone was shipped early the next morning.
 
Btw guys I received my new iPhone 6 Plus in Gold today. It's beautiful. I'm loving my case and I'm glad I went with ZAGG Tempered Glass Protector. ##

In the words of Jim Valvano, don't give up! Don't ever give up! As I see it, you're at the finish line and this thread is evidence that people are getting their phones...weeks later than anticipated, but still, it's coming. I know you've had it up to HERE with Verizon and Apple for playing the supply chain game (never believe when Apple said they didn't expect this phone to be a hit), but at the end of the day you need to use Verizon's failure to meet their quoted goal to your advantage.

Calling Verizon csr to ask about shipping delays for these iPhones is like referring to a magic 8 ball. The more you try the more you get various, vague responses. It's not worth it, no one there seems to know anything.
 
Don't get me wrong, I am overjoyed that my phones have shipped but why would they sit at the facility in Memphis for 36hrs before departing? It seems like they wanted to make sure they didn't get to me before Monday...
 
I have expected ship date of 10/24 and no movement yet.. sigh

I ordered 6 64gb gold on 10/14, called the phone number mentioned earlier for the order dept in order to just verify nothing wrong with my order. Exp ship date is 10/24. Rep told me that there shouldn't be a delay but there is a possibility due to the high amount of iPhones being shipped this week that it may not be shipped til Monday.

On a side note. Did anyone else upgrade even though they were not eligible to upgrade? I called to find out if I could pay my termination fee for my contract and then upgrade to a new phone. The rep said she wasn't sure and she tried to put an order through with me trading in my current iPhone 5s and it went through and she said I wouldn't have to pay any termination fees. (I decided to go to the edge program).

I'm not exactly sure how I was able to upgrade and I'm kinda afraid to ask a csr because they may screw with it and end up canceling my upgrade. But my only thought is that maybe because the trade in value of my phone is 300 and the early upgrade/termination of contract fee was 290 that may have been the only reason I was allowed to do this.

Well, Verizon we are not to a good start. I decided to switch carriers after 15 years and bought a iPhone 6 Silver 64gb on 10/08 with a ship date of 10/24. Received communication last friday that my Phone was on target to ship 10/24. After not hearing anything from this company again, I decided to check last night and today for an update. One person tells me that it was going to ship today, to check later. Well its later 9:00pm and called again the other associate tells me that they shipped the phone today, I asked for a tracking could not give me one. Switched me to the online customer service, the lady showed it as still processing. I explained that the phone was due to ship today and after the back and forth she did not have an answer. I ended up with a sir, I will send you an update tomorrow. And people claim this company to be great... What a joke...

you were right I called back and they ran my card again and it went through and there was a problem with my cc, I checked after the phone call and and I could see it was charged she then stated that I would get shipment later tonight or tomorrow.
 
I called Verizon after seeing "payment not taken" note on order status....CSR was really nice and seemed to be "in the know". She put me on hold while she talked to the credit department (since those are the people who i talked to yesterday). After a ten minute hold, she tells me that the order wasn't processing because the credit dept. forgot to check mark a box for final approval.

Anyway, she said the guy in the credit department did what needed done and pushed my order to the front of the line to maintain the 10/24 ship date as well as adding next day shipping.

She said the order status page should change in the next couple of hours.

On a side note - I noticed Verizon changed their data plans, and when looking at this, noticed that they forgot to give me my free 1gb per iPhone pre-order promotion!
 
I know but I want them to process this phone ASAP so i can get gift card and use that to pay my verizon bill. Plus, it took them 15 days to ship this thing, I hate to see how long it will take to get my giftcard

If you're going to pay the Verizon bill, they can do that in the store right away. I was able to do that and simply applied my $200 credit when I gave them the phone. Also, I wanted to have the CSR in the store verify the phone worked, etc.
