My phone just showed up on the Verizon site under My Orders. Is this a good sign?, (I hope, I hope, I hope)???

Took a look at iconic, and there is a whole wall of information fields right now, but I could not locate the iconic status.

Yep, that's a good sign/what happened with mine. I'm really wishing everyone well getting these phones!
 
Typing on my 6+ as I write this!! Hang in there. Mine was delivered this morning. Ordered on 10/4. Original ship date was 10/31. And have Verizon unlimited data also!! Ftw!!
 
So I had my wife's phone ship on Saturday, scheduled for today, however as of a few minutes ago FedEx was saying that it had arrived at the local facility but not out for delivery. Hope I'm not going to sit at home for no reason waiting for the phone.

when was the pickup scan put on package? If Saturday then you SHOULD get today. If it's was Monday you'll get it tomorrow. That's the key.

Not sure it is Verizon in this case. FedEx has gotten real bad the last couple of years about not delivering before expected date and not allowing pickup of items that have arrived at the local facility.

I had a passport that had to be signed and returned immediately for a foreign visa for trip where the country had change required time left on passport had been changed (necessitating an expensive emergency renewal). It arrived at the local facility 2 days before it was supposed to be delivered - overnight when 3-day had been paid for by the expediter. I drove over there to plead that I could get it so I could sign it and reship it. No joy. Cost me and the team I was with several hundred extra as it delayed our purchase of tickets as we didn't have visas yet.

Trust me it's not FedEx. Verizon won't allow us to deliver early. Can't correct an address (even if we know it) without their permission,delaying the delivery, etc. With the Passports its pushed thru system like that but because it's Express Saver those won't be delivered/sorted for an early delivery. As for going to station to pickup early the reason why is those cans/freight haven't been sorted and chances its at the ramp/airport and yet sorted.

Ordered the 6+ 64g SG on 10/04 in store at about 11am. Original ship date was 11/14 but I am really hoping that since all these SGs are being shipped out that I see movement before then, hopefully by the end of the week!

Did you transfer an upgrade to a tiered line, activate the phone, then switch them?

Transferred my upgrade to tiered line; upgraded at upgrade price on tiered line, not full retail. When phone came I acitvated it on tiered line. Once activation occurred and all changes happened on Vzw website I "switched" devices over the phone with rep as for some reason the online switch didn't work right away. In the end. Maintained unlimited. Wife now has my S4.

Trust me I don't want to be delivering 28+ stops of Verizon phones today when half of those were in yesterday. But Verizon pays the bills so it is what it is.

As for your business and preference... Ummm ok whatever works for you I guess
 
That's stupid! Are you a new customer or was it an added line? I'm a new customer but ordered online (2 lines, 2 contracts), and my billing doesn't start until I activate my first iPhone.

Upgrading contract.

Called Verizon they said it shouldn't stop it since I paid for the phone already.

Did you get an error message when you tried to activate it online? What number did you call to activate it? Did you activate and switch phones both over the phone? If so, was this 2 separate calls or the same call?

Sorry, I don't want to screw anything up and lose my UDP.

No error msg. Just activated over phone because I didn't do it correct through phone or on site. It was no issue though. Then to make switch I made separate call. Yes. Two calls were made. Looking at orderrracker.me two people ordered the same phone (6+ 128 SG) on oct 24. And got their phones before I did! Wtf :/

Once your iconic status is at S you can see if a shipping label has been created by going to FedEx and tracking via reference using the following as the reference #:

(7 digit ACE ORDER LOCATION)_0000(5-digit ACE ORDER NUMBER)

So if your ACE ORDER LOCATION is X123456 and your ACE ORDER NUMBER IS 12345 you would track: X123456_000012345

You can get the ACE info from your iconic info

I know it sucks but you realize its because you have two phones you're waiting on don't you?

Can't be an issue for him, I ordered one 6+ and there are people that ordered after me getting their phones before me, and they have the same configuration as me. 128SG+

Yeah, i had asked them about it and they told me they were ordered together. Granted I have never preordered before so i didnt know what to expect. I thought about cancelling and reordering but shipping times were much longer then 10/31. Im not complaining or anything I just hope that the 10/31 ship date sticks otherwise im **** out of luck. I've called multiple time and cs says that im good for the 10/31 date so hopefully they were'nt lying to me.
