VZW Order Status Thread

How long do you have to turn in your old phone after your new one arrives when Edging up? Anyone have an idea?

Not sure it is Verizon in this case. FedEx has gotten real bad the last couple of years about not delivering before expected date and not allowing pickup of items that have arrived at the local facility.

I had a passport that had to be signed and returned immediately for a foreign visa for trip where the country had change required time left on passport had been changed (necessitating an expensive emergency renewal). It arrived at the local facility 2 days before it was supposed to be delivered - overnight when 3-day had been paid for by the expediter. I drove over there to plead that I could get it so I could sign it and reship it. No joy. Cost me and the team I was with several hundred extra as it delayed our purchase of tickets as we didn't have visas yet.
 
6+ 128gb SG ordered October 4th with a ship by date of October 31 just shipped and will be here tomorrow.
 
OK... verified. Charged this morning, and the purchase is reflected in the Order History on the Verizon site. No tracking information as of yet, (probably because the transaction just went through). No email as of now.

Ordered 09/28/14, morning, at the Verizon Store.

My card was charged last night and my iconic status went to "S" somewhere before 10:00pm CST and I received an email with my tracking number at 9:12am. Tracking number didn't show as valid until after 10:00am. Now it's showing ETD sometime 10/30.
 
A past due bill isn't gonna stop my phone is it? Cause I told Verizon I refuse to pay for a months bills for a phone that I don't even have.

My 5s was delivered around 4:30 last year. I'm at the University of Illinois at Chicago til 4pm and don't get home til 6:30. #

I'm not sure why you are blaming Verizon for this. It is Apple that is way behind on deliveries. From what I can tell, Space Gray orders are being delivered well before their promised delivery dates. That is probably one of the most popular colors and Apple can just keep making them in that color and shipping them out as they probably have no worries about over-producing them. The gold phones seem to be the ones with the most delay. That is the most likely color to find in-stock in various retail outlets. Verizon has no control over the supply.

FWIW, I ordered a SG 6+ on Oct. 9th for a NOv. 14th delivery date. They seem to be rapidly shipping out the SGs due on Nov 7th this week. I optimistically expect the Nov. 14th orders to go out the end of this week or early next.

It's getting late in the day. I'd be surprised if it makes it on a truck this late. I could be wrong.

This happened to me and then it went into cancellation.. I called and they said it happened to many people..
 
Order on 9/28 through Verizon Online.

(2) 6+ 64g SG - Expected ship date 11/7. Iconic S as of 11AM PST today.
(2) 6+ 64g G - Expected ship date 10/31. Iconic C as of 11AM PST today.

Seems like Verizon has gotten a large shipment of SGs from Apple in the last week of so. Hopefully this gives some hope to everyone who ordered a 64g SG.

Well how is that going to help you in any way? So when you get your iPhone, your first months bill is going to be for two months plus all the activation fees?

So I'll join the fray - Ordered 6+ 64 Silver on Oct 9. Expected delivery is 11/7 -- hoping sooner, but hey - it's just a phone, right?

Is it shipping UPS or FedEx? The UPS facility is just on the other side of the Dan Ryan from UIC if you need to pick it up....Can't remember where the FedEx office is for that area since its been a few years since I lived in the area.

Fedex. And they won't let you get it earlier than the moment the man drops it off in your hands on your doorstep.
 
Hoping i get a tracking number today... Iconic never worked well for me, so I rely on what shows up in my verizon account in receipt and documents..:(

Mine got cancelled for 7 days past due. Had to pay it and reorder. Now I have to wait an additional week to get it.
