VZW Order Status Thread

If I cancel my VZW order and go to an apple store, will I still get $200 for trade in

I haven't got any shipment delay e-mails but my ship date is 11/14. So mad at VZW for making everyone wait so long and the whole process just doesn't really make sense. I am in NYC and ALL Apple stores had the phone I ordered (6 plus 64GB in Gold) in stock. ALL OF THEM!

The thing is I traded in my old iPhone 4 for the $200 promotion...will Verizon honor the deal if I cancel my online order and simply pick up the phone from an Apple store?
 
Ordered an iphone 6+ SG on 10/4 with an expected ship date of 11/14. Just got a cc charge for $475! Shipping details will probably come soon!

Finally some good news. My CC was charged this morning and my SG 6 64 GB should be shipped tomorrow. Ordered 10.2 original delivery date 10.31.
Good luck to those still waiting.

This is NOT true.:eek:
I did exactly that, and still got my $200 for my iPhone 4. if you cancel it make sure you do it at the Apple store. they will charge you to cancel the assigned phone number on the new phone though. I bought the Beats wireless headset with it:cool:

When Verizon iconic stated it would ship Monday 11/3 yet the email stated it was pushed back to 11/7 the Verizon Rep admitted that they truly did not know when they would come in and if I could find what I wanted somewhere else that would be a good choice because she felt the 11/7 date also would change. I had to work today so when I got off at 4pm I had found on idevicechecker.com that the Best Buy Mobile Store not drastically far away had the 64 plus in gold. While not Silver once a cover is on it, it basically looks the same. They had one remaining from what they got in yesterday afternoon. They could not place a hold but I got there fairly quickly and was able to purchase it. They actually stated they had done several cancel of the orders and sales. The transaction went quite smooth with doing the converting of my precious Edge program to the new one, they canceled the old order, then processed the new. SO I am now a Proud New Owner of a Gold 6 Plus 64



I wish every one lots of luck and total enjoyment of your new phone once you get it. I will stop back in to see how everyone is doing.

After all that! Congrats on the new device! I just love the gold color and glad I came upon one myself.

Same news here with TWO phones. Both ordered 10/08

Gold 6 64 GB original ship date 10/24 changed to 11/03

SG 6+ 64 GB original ship date 11/14

Both phones charged this morning and the order update changed to 11/01. No ship date listed.

Me too! exactly the same, ordered same phone, same color same date and got the same email. It doesn't say on my account but got an email. The credit card has changed, yet they said it won't charge until it ships.....:mad:

Only reason why I am going through this trouble is they're giving me 6gb data plan after losing my unlimited, which is fine, b/c i'm jumping ship from verizon to t-mobile in 2 years.

What is really true! I talk to Verizon rep twice and she tald me they can not gave me $200 dollar and in order to get$200 I need by phone through Verizon. How did you get your $200 so quick? I send my like maybe 3 weeks ago and they steel did not get it. Call 4:00 am and finaly talk to recycle program deportment. They tald me my phone in wherehouse right now.
 
Did anyone get a text from verizon yesterday offering 4GB of data for free? That's what I'm paying for right now, it said to reply yes, no changes to the plan or contract. I know it's from them and not spam though.

I checked in my city and no store has the phone I want, best buy, target, apple. :( I'm stuck waiting.

Best thing about the wait was that I could JB the day I got my phone, that's a first ever for me. Now if LP will get their head out of their arse and release a case my life will be complete.

Could you tell us more? When did you cancel your order? I was told that in order for the 200 promo to work you have to order with VZW before 10/15. My new order date would be November if I cancel and get the phone from Apple store instead.

Just because it happened once doesn't mean it will happen again. If their policy is to not offer the $200 if the order is canceled then there is always a chance that that will be the case. I got a free drink from taco bell the other night because the drive through worker accidentally gave it to me and couldn't take it back. I don't plan on that happening again.

Newbie here. I ordered a 64g SB 6 on 10/3 with a ship date of 10/31. Was told it was backed up until 11/10 but my iconic status hasn't changed. It still says 10/31 as the expected ship date. Anyone know what that's about?

Cancel it and go buy the device at your local Apple store. As of this week they now have every model, color, and capacity in stock.

thats not true. In fact, there isn't a single apple store within 500 miles of me that has an iPhone 6 64 GB SG.

Just a hurry up and wait game until iconic status changes to "s". That's the reality of it. Stinks

Look at the very bottom, possibly have to scroll to the right as well. (Search function on a desktop or laptop works well too)
