VZW Order Status Thread

This is my first posting here in this thread, but I have lurked every once in a while. I am sorry that these delays continue to happen to you.

I just wanted to let you all know that right now it looks like Best Buy has received a big shipment of Verizon iPhones, both 6 and 6+ across the country. I looked at idevicechecker.com this morning and was shocked. There are SG and Silver 64GB 6+ showing in various locations. Also a ton of 128GB SG 6's. You may want to call your local stores just to verify stock. Stores are just opening or will be opening soon, so hopefully someone will be able to take advantage.

I went to Best Buy and they will do whatever plan that Verizon offers. I was a new EDGE customer so I could only go to Best Buy (other than ordering from Verizon) or do the Apple wait-in-line-and-hope game, but then Apple didn't do the Single line plan that I wanted, so I was only left with Best Buy. However, once I located my phone, it was a painless process and they will even port over your contacts and photos from your old phone if necessary (I was coming from an S3).

You can also buy your phone outright with BB, but they do charge $50 extra in doing that.

Again, for those who can, hopefully you can take advantage and get what you are looking for sooner rather than later. Hope this helps and best of luck!

Yes that's right. Still nothing from Verizon, no email, no charge to the CC. If it is going to ship Mon the CC should get hit tomorrow. Again will keep all informed of any change.

I received my tracking number yesterday and it should be here Tuesday. On a side note, I think the supply for both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is now meeting demand. I went into my local Apple store yesterday and the sales associate had told me they currently have all models available even 64 GB 6 Plus's.

iPhone 6 Plus SG 16GB

Order Date: Oct 26th at 10PM

Expected Ship Date: Nov 14th

ICONIC status received on Oct 30th

Tracking received on Oct 31st and expected delivery date Nov 4th.

That certainly is NOT the case in Las Vegas and or the West Coast. People are still camping out all night waiting in line to be there at 4 am in the morning to get a ticket to get a chance to get a phone from the list that gets released at 5am int he morning here in Las Vegas. There were 9 people in line after 8:30 last night just hoping to get the one phone left over that had not been picked up from the person who got the ticket at 5 am in the morning. It is still like a lottery here in Las Vegas. The line at 5 am in the morning is generally about 30+ people I was told with only about 10 people getting a phone and those are not all Verizon. I was told by the Apple store that is the same for all of the Southern California stores as well. So NO they have not caught up with the demand.

I live in New York, we have something like 20 Apples stores here, and their flagship location is located here as well. So I guess we are a priority when it comes to receiving shipments. If you don't believe me, simply go to Apple.com and check for in-store pick up in New York, its all green and has been for the last few of days.

Also my iPhone 6 Plus was shipped only 4 days after ordering it from VerizonWireless.com, so I like said, maybe it's a priority situation based on location.

I'm sorry you are having trouble getting your device. I'm sure inventory will pick up in your location soon.

EDIT: I just checked Apple.com, New York currently only has the iPhone 6 Plus 64GB in Space Gray Available at locations. As for silver and gold, all capacities are available at nearly every location.

My tracking shows on truck for Monday delivery. Get a text just now saying a package is delivered, so I'm now opening my new IPhone 6+, anyone else get a Sat delivery?

I've tried this, and all kinds of variants, won't work!

Called Verizon, they said it will ship on Monday...so much for getting the "S" status back on 10/28...

I Agree, I am in Arizona and all the Apple stores in my state have been without stock/very limited stock since after the release date. I check in with them daily and they have no Verizon stock, only Sprint and sometimes A&TT.
 
The only Apple Store near me hasn't had any 6+'s from what they say. They aren't even doing the 5am things. They aren't getting any to sell. If they do, it's first come first serve. As of now I'm due to ship by 11/7, and am still showing that, so hopefully it's legit. Guess I'll found out in the coming days. On the plus side, I'm never doing this again.

I'm with you. I think these last few days leading up to 11/7 are going to be brutal. I'm just hoping the ship dates don't slip.
 
I had enough.

Called my local mobile Best Buy. They had an iPhone 6+ 64GB in gold available!! So I called Verizon to cancel my (now delayed) preorder so I could get the upgraded device in Best Buy. The Verizon CSR was incredible. She not only completely understood my situation, but canceled my preorder and ensured that Best Buy would have no issues with my account.

She was right. Everything was smooth and I am now a proud owner of a gold iPhone 6+! What an awesome device!

To those of you still waiting, you may consider going this route. I waited 5 weeks for a preorder that got delayed another week last night. I was having no more waiting.

If you buy from Best Buy do they still take the $10.00 a month? I remember my husband doing it from Best Buy once and they charged him $10 every month for 2 years just because he was getting it through them.

I've never heard of this. Honestly this whole experience has really frustrated me with verizon and killed my excitement about the new phone.

Did not encounter this issue. Upgraded through the Edge program without any extra fees.
 
Still no movement on any of the delayed 10/24 orders? Would love to see my 6 get some movement. Not looking like it's going to ship on 11/03 now either.
 
Same here. Had a 10-31 ship date pushed to 11-21. Called best buy mobile and they had my 6+ 128 SG in stock. Got it and cancelled Verizon pre order. Check stock people the phones are out there
 
iPhone ordered on 10/2. Exp Shipping Date 10/31.

I received confirmation it shipped and should be in my hands this Monday.

The iPhone ordered was a SG iPhone 6 Plus 64GB.

You're right. I was able to pick up a Verizon 6+ 128GB SG last night. Got tired of waiting for my Tmobile order. I couldn't reserve it because I'm buying device only. Took my time to get there and it was still available. I guess it was because it was Halloween.
 
Just called Verizon as well. They said that because it was a weekend they would be able to ship it Monday. I'll believe it when I see it.
 
I cancelled my order as well. My local apple store over here in NJ had every plus model in stock. I wish you guys the best of luck with your orders.
