VZW Order Status Thread

preorder question

Will verizon have any 6 plus's at the store early mourning launch day??
thinking about canceling my preorder and waiting in line

The funny thing is the order with the tracking number was completed LATER (12:08 PDT e-mail order confirmation) than the one without a tracking number (12:00 PDT e-mail order confirmation).

The orders are for TWO iPhone 6+ 128GB Gold models.

Check the other status page https://wbillpay.verizonwireless.com/vzw/secure/orderhistory/viewOrderHistory.action and see if your shipping is listed as 2ND DAY AIR. Just curious, cuz if I believe my order status, its shipping 9/18 2ND DAY AIR. Which is delivery 9/23. I talked to a VZW supervisor who said 9/18 is wrong its actually 9/17. But at this point all I know is I'll have one by 9/22 maybe sooner.

I'm in Lafayette, LA. My order status updated this morning with my tracking info. Ordered 2x 6's 16GB Space Gray. Says order is shipping on 9/18 through UPS.
 
Ordered mine sat 9-13 at like 4pm
Order Summary:

Order Date: 09/13/2014
Deliver By: 10/21/2014


Yikes 5 weeks!
 
My status just changed and I now have a tracking number. When I click on the number it takes me to the FedEx website. That says the number is invalid. When I click on the + sign next to the number on the Verizon status page it says the shipper is UPSSH. So I go to the UPS site and that also tells me the number is invalid.

Huh?

It's UPS if the tracking number starts with 1Z...Verizon can issue a tracking number through UPS, but it doesn't mean UPS is in possession of the package yet. No tracking info will show until UPS scans it into their system.

If it's a 1z number is ups. They sometimes take a while to enter the info into their system.

I got the link to FedEx as well. It was said earlier that Verizon typically uses them so it probably does links to them automatically.

I order at 02:01 central time. iPhone 6 plus 64 gb gold. My delivery date is 9/18. Tracking info received and paid in full
 
Is it a bad thing that every year that an iPhone is released I enjoy watching people freaking out on these forums over whether or not they may have to wait an extra day or two for their phone as if it is Armageddon? I also wonder why and find it entertaining that people will keep bugging customer service reps (often multiple times a day) to try and get one to say it will be there on the 19th when the reps often really have no clue. I feel bad for the reps this time of year... Imagine working an 8 hour shift and having to deal with dozens of impatient customers whom will cease to exist and switch carriers if they have to wait an extra 5 minutes to get their phone. Don't get me wrong I am very excited to get my phone (currently slated to ship 10/14) but it will get here when it gets here. I will leave VZW customer service alone and go on with my life until the phone arrives. There is no reason to panic, get worried, be concerned, etc. The phone will arrive eventually. Apple can't produce 10 million phones in a week. :)

My 16GB 6+ Space Gray still shows no info available for shipping status. My order made it through around 3:45 AM on 9/12. My confirmation said 9/19 but my order status later in the day said 10/14.

So I have no idea wtf is going on. I called Verizon and the rep told me it would be here by 9/19, but if past history is any indication they generally don't seem to have any idea what they are talking about.

Yes, I'm having my phone shipped to houston. My phone is coming from West Chester, PA for some reason.
 
What I want to know is who is HECTOR BARAJAS? I placed my order online and somehow he's my sales person.

Ah, ok. But hey! My 128gb iPhone + has shipped! And the original email said 10/19!!

Give it time. 6+'s are in crazy demand. Go by what your pre-order confirmation states and relax. We'll know something probably around Wednesday.
 
For those getting order status change and/or tracking - are you receiving an email from Verizon or are you just seeing it on the order status page?
 
Ugh, just got off the phone with customer service because when I placed the order on the 12th through edge the rep told me it was scheduled to be delivered by the 19th...email confirmation says 10/7..... Called verizon and spoke to someone to explain then said no, it is being delivered on the 19th and was about to give me the tracking number then got cutoff, called back now they are saying it is still 10/ 7/ 2014////wtf?

Normally would not care but my LG G2 screen just went out.....

Lol people go crazy about these phones lol I love iPhone too and I'm a big apple fan but I be damn if I let a simple electronic device consume my life.
