VZW Order Status Thread

If anything, feel bad for the ATT people who ordered early and still have to wait until October!

Umm..I did order early thru Verizon..minutes after 3am and still gotta wait til October so feel bad for us too lol

Same Exact boat as you. My email came in at 2:59 though.

Ordered (64 GB iPhone 6 silver) 9/12 in store at 10:45ish EST and it still doesn't show under my orders but I called Verizon and after 5-10 min on hold, a very nice woman checked my status, found the order, and gave me a FedEx tracking number.

My phone is currently in PA somewhere and FedEx says estimated delivery: Fri 9/19/2014 by 10:30 am.

In the special request it says future delivery. That kills me, we could all have our phones right now but instead they are sitting in a warehouse somewhere. O well, at least I know I will get mine on Friday morning.

The Plus phones all had a date of 10/14 on them when I logged in just before 3am EST. I think the had like 10 of each and they were gone in about 2 seconds lol

3:18am is pretty late. A few of my friends ordered the 6 plus on ATT at 3:01am EST and have October dates. The VZW people who ordered before 3:10 seem to all have 9/19 dates.

Hope you end up getting yours early though.
 
Business customers

All:

Hoping I can get some guidance as to when mine might arrive. I'm a business customer and ordered thru my rep since the VZW site was going haywire on the 12th. Order was placed at around 10:30 a.m ET. I know that time would indicate a 10/7 delivery at the earliest for individual customers but I think VZW allocates units for businesses only.

Any other business customers with similar status screens? Anyone with any know-how have an opinion as to what I should expect?

honestly i don't think they correlate at all though because i know people who ordered at 445 and got order #s of 10000 etc.

of course my pre order email says 9/19 and i don't know what I'm freaking because verizon has never missed the confirmation date before but human nature i guess

the only thing I'm concerned about is that every other carrier and also apple itself has charged and shipped people for the 128+, but thats also what makes me sure well get it.

I'm thinking things like could it be the grey color 128+ thats having an issue?

i don't know any more i hate this. of course the customer service reps don't know anything all they tell me is that there is no obviously problem with the order, but I'm just wondering why they aren't taking orders in sequence from when we put them in on the website.

if we still have nothing by the end of today, then i'll start to really worry.. for now I'm just, let's say, "extra focused"

(sorry for the stream of consciousness writing lol)

No reason to get upset or worried. This is normal. Who knows what is happening on the backend. Maybe they haven't processed your order because yours will take less time to get to you.

Apple can't produce 10 million phones in a week. 🙂

Nope nothing was showing until I checked it early this morning. When I would check the last few days with the preorder number, it said the same, that it was in process. From what I've seen on this forum, anyone whose original email confirmation reflected delivery by the 19th, and has received their tracking info, is getting it on Friday. I'd be surprised if your tracking info doesn't show up today tomorrow.

When I called Verizon, I was told that screen was for shipped orders only. It doesn't make sense to me, but sure enough, it popped up after I got my tracking number.

Yeah I know. You're freaking out. RELAX.

Your phone will ship on time. Verizon fulfills orders based on location and type of phone. They won't be shipping you a phone from 3000 miles away. A fulfillment center within 1-2 day shipping will fulfill your order. This center just hasn't gotten to your order yet.

A worker has to go to each order and fulfill it. So the workers will open a box of phones and fulfill them. They have a phone for you if you have a 9/19 date.

2 years ago I had the same concerns as you. But 1 day before release they finally posted my order under order history, got receipt and tracking. My brother who ordered 2 hrs after me got his tracking 2 days earlier. I was freaking as I didn't even have CC charge when his shipped. The difference in our orders was mine was the larger 64GB phone and he had 32.

I'll tell everyone 1 more time... RELAX!!

Thanks for the explanation, somewhere i know all of this, but it helps. lol after all I've been through the 4, 4s, 5, 5s launches with vzw, but even so, this 6 launch is the worst I've ever seen. even the CSR told me on the phone they've never seen anything like it before.

here i am though, not subscribing to occam's razor. even though i told people that it's silly to make up problems when the obvious explanation based on history and evidence is that everything will be fine. Here i am again though.

can i ask if you or anyone else reading this who has been charged/got an update lives on long island new york?

thats where I'm at just out of curiosity

No official shipping e-mail from Verizon. Status change information obtained via proactive and obsessive queries to overburdened Verizon Order Status Page for minute to minute updates. Now that I've reached the last stage, with tracking number in hand, it is time to head off to unintentionally DDoS FedEx and/or UPS websites for second-by-second movement until it arrives at the doorstep.

I didn't get an email from Verizon, but just checked my order again and I now have a tracking number. It starts with 1Z and is invalid, but that may be because it just appeared within the last 10-15 mins.

Same thing here, it won't show until UPS has scanned the label into their system...which for all we know could be tonight, tomorrow, Wednesday or Thursday lol
 
After sweating out the last couple of days, looks like I finally have a tracking number, an expected delivery date of 9/18, and a charge to my bank account.

I had a 6+ Space Grey 64GB, ordered within five minutes of midnight Pacific, and up to now, my account had little to no acknowledgement of the order.
 
I have never been happier that I switched from ATT than right now. And that is saying a lot.

ATT support is so garbage.
