I read my post before I posted and knew I was missing something. I grabbed a refurb.

It's killing me. I knew my 4 yr old iMac was acting badly for the last six months or so but I kept keeping on and last week my HDD went south so I put a 1TB in and all is well but I've been scanning via RSS every since waiting for any word of a new iMac. Give me strength.

Chances are excellent. But they'll move to the 6000 series of cards.

It'd be great if they would use them in the lower end 21.5, but they'll stick in a 5*** unfortunately.

I bet they'll get a 6000 series as well. Not that it matters, they aren't necessarily any better. A 6850 is actually slower than a 5850(referring to desktop cards).
