I prefer the "s" iPhones because of the CPU and GPU upgrades they typically receive.

The iPhone 4S (A5) to 5 (A6) was a huge jump in performance. Even today, the 5 doesn't feel inadequate for any tasks. It's probably more hampered by lack of RAM than processing speed as it constantly reloads pages and apps.

Best of both worlds (design and speed) with the non-S cycle.

I prefer the S-cycle because it seems the phone designs are more refined. The 5s feels way better in the hand than the 5.

I am actually not on the S-cycle because I like to have the new designs (and bigger screens) asap.

Ditto. But I don't care about cases, Apple make its own and you can find third party cases pretty soon.
Let's see what happens with apps with the new screen resolution instead.
I remember some apps taking forever to upgrade to iPhone 5 new resolution, same thing for the retina artwork when iPhone 4 was launched.

The main thing I will enjoy with the larger screen is the web. I'm more patient with everything else. I'm sure the big developers already have some mockups in the works and it won't take them as long this time, especially since Apple has been doing a lot of work making Auto Layout in Xcode even better.

I do forget though that Apple makes their own cases now. But I don't really remember them having cases available when the iPhone 5 launched. I had a free bumper for my iPhone 4, but didn't those new leather cases launch last year with the 5S? I'm not sure if I'll use a case on the 6, but if I do I'm definitely going to be looking at those leather cases. They look really nice.

I like the 's' cycle. It is the best. I rationalize it this way, all the retards are on the non s cycle lol
