i have noticed various posts but no rmbp review, still waiting.

If you really want to know the status, the best bet is asking him directly on Twitter (@anandshimpi). Given that he posted last night that he's gotten 16 hours of sleep in the last 4-5 days, though, your mileage may vary.

I don't have twitter

Does anyone know if the review is still coming out? I see some other reviews have been posted not sure if they are ahead of rmbp review or not. Anyone have info mr hammer? Twitter?

any reason

Is there any reason why one of the many other haswell reviews of the rMBP doesn't provide enough detail on the performance increases and the battery life?

Seriously? Is this thread going to go until Broadwell gets released? What do you think you are going to find out about the Haswell rMBP at this point? It's been out for 5-6 months now. Anand isn't a magician and any information he can provide has already been provided by consumers and reviewers alike.

Anand is an ubergeek who will reassure me my MBP purchase was smart, so then I will be so cool I will not need a girlfriend.

Wait til I get my new case...

Gosh, some people like beating a dead horse. People, please let this pursue of Anand's review die, otherwise your life will be forever stuck at this point and never move forward.

Even though I am not hopeful about the review, the site has been updated with the review of Dell's Haswell laptop which was announced in the beginning of October 2013, therefore before the Haswell rMBPs. Even though this might be an indication that they may release the review of Haswell rMBP in the future, I must also note this Dell review is authored not by Anand, and Anand personally authors rMBP reviews.

Why is this a problem for you?

I prefer seeing this one thread about the (non-existing) review rather than having another "which MBP should I buy" or "I spilled X on my MBP" thread on the front page.

This thread could also be used to point to other good rMBP reviews. Unfortunately there aren't all that many...

The point is this thread hasn't changed for pages. It's all the same, anything on Twitter?, can someone tweet at him?, is this still coming out?, how can it take so long?, any news yet?, why haven't they posted an update?. It gets old, this thread is just people asking the same boring questions and people replying no, give it up or this thread is still going!?.

I actually find it highly amusing. We have someone who cares enough to post every few days asking if a review is coming (like anyone here would know—that's the first bit of comedy), but who refuses to take the 60 seconds to make a Twitter account and ask the oracle himself (hence our second bit of comedy).

This thread has been and remains comedy gold.

Anyone know if when the review will be out?

..Only messing, I like reading Anand's reviews, they have something the others don't. Im also surprised by the number of people that still ask stupid questions.

Why is this a problem for you?

Problem? Nope, not a problem for me. Like others have said, it's becoming a joke. A sad one. Same crap questions asked by people every time, just like those annoying kids in car asking "are we there yet? are we there yet?" :D

Just be patient. The review will be ready, when it is ready. Just like that infamous PC game - Duke Nukem Forever. LOL.

what makes you think its still coming?

Hehe, you do know the saying of "it will be ready, when it is ready" right? And you do know about the loooonnnnnggg development history of Duke Nukem Forever right? It took 14 years in the making and many times during the development we all even suspected it will never be released. But it did release much to many people's surprise. So same thing and anything can happen to this Anand's vapour review too :D

think of how much that has changed in 14 years for computers. I don't think i am interested in reading a notebook review from 2000.
