So glad I didn't wait for this review like I intended before I bought my computer... Lol

You mean, you're not going to return it if he gives it a bad review? I feel sure all of these other people are going to return their computers if the review says it is unsatisfactory...

Is he still posting a review? It's far too late now. I remember waiting for it for him to tell me how awesome my Haswell rMBP is and have just given up. I love Anandtech but taking any more than a month for a review is just ridiculous.

think of how much that has changed in 14 years for computers. I don't think i am interested in reading a notebook review from 2000.

So, you disagree with the thought that a very useful function served by Anand's reviews is to build a repository of advanced knowledge?

He did say in January that the rMBP review was still a priority.

The Haswell Dell XPS 15 review was released just a few days ago, so I guess the rMBP review is still a possibility.

We're almost halfway to seeing the next rMBP so I won't hold my breath. While I love Anandtech reviews I still think it's fair to criticize something that's taken this long to come out... and more.

Given what Anand writes about, which is not the junk in a run of the mill review, it wouldn't be irrelevant at all. As I've stated previously, there's a very useful function served by his reviews of building a repository of advanced knowledge, and that stuff is useful in a completely different way from, "Should I buy this product or not?"

You have to be one of the most prolific - and useless - posters in the MacBook Pro forum. Unfortunately, you have little to offer...

Oh MacRumors, how I love thee.

Guys, do you know if there is a feature on MacRumors forums that I can enable where I won't see the posts of certain forumites, either forum-wide or within a specific thread??

You stepped up to the plate, took a swing and completely missed the pitch.

Well, the "pitch" being sarcasm. In case you still don't get it, "the thought" was yours....

Oh no. I got it. I just find your continued obsession with me to be very cute and flattering. I've never had a groupie before. It's quite cool.

P.S. The continued interest here suggests my original post was and is spot-on in its logic.

[MOD NOTE]
The thread has served its purpose and looking back at the prior posts, its time to close.
