You're getting $200 more in exchange for an inferior GPU and an extra hour of battery life. Process performance from old to new will be equivalent. I don't know that that's a "good stock price"...

Apparently no 16GB option for 13 inch rMBP....

You can get 16GB BTO but I doubt it comes standard with the high-end model. I'm guessing it will be 8GB.

Haha. Yeah, I think you're right. This is kind of what I had started expecting (or thinking was more possible, anyway) since the iMac release, but it's still underwhelming. I'm in the market for 3 laptops for family members, and I think I may just buy 3 refurbs of the old models.

That's the way I understand it, yeah. The 750M is a BTO option, or probably standard on the high-end.
