You're getting $200 more in exchange for an inferior GPU and an extra hour of battery life. Process performance from old to new will be equivalent. I don't know that that's a "good stock price"...

I don't remember ever seeing the term crystallwell here, how is that better than haswell?

Haha. Yeah, I think you're right. This is kind of what I had started expecting (or thinking was more possible, anyway) since the iMac release, but it's still underwhelming. I'm in the market for 3 laptops for family members, and I think I may just buy 3 refurbs of the old models.
 
A friend of mine is at the Apple store right now, one of the ones in Texas (not sure which though). They told him they do not have them in store today.
